I would love to see proper control pad support for the Xbox 360 control pad. I use it pretty well with a Warrior and Thief.

This is a problem I have come across recently also. Norn Warrior just did the Vigil initiation. Happens quite alot.

A lad on the Official Playstation forums is having trouble with his account. He cannot log into the forums here to get support apparently so I offered to post his ticket information here for him in the hope he can get something sorted out.

What follows is the information supplied to me regarding his problem….

Original Ticket/Incident number is: 120830-009375 – was submitted on 30th August

Issue: Cannot log-in as e-mail has been changed by someone that isn’t me.

I would like to know Arenanets stance on using third party programs to enable use of a Control Pad for playing Guild Wars 2. Programs like Xpadder, Pinnacle, etc.

While it is usually against the terms of service to use third party applications to cheat etc (probably because of bots etc), I see no real reason to disallow people from using a program like the above mentioned to allow them to use another control device (one that most would argue would make them worse players anyway).

Could we have an official stance on the use of the mentioned programs please? I really dislike using a keyboard and mouse for the majority of PC games but I do not want to risk an account ban either.

Posting this here due to it being more to do with the account than anything else.

Performance just feels the same for me currently. Hasn’t fixed the crashing though.

I think this is a legitimate issue. I’m in a US based guild from Tarnished Coast but I play on an EU server, Desolation. Therefore I don’t get the benefits of any of their perks. I have to earn influence and build my own perks up, for that guild, on my server.

I think this is a big flaw in the cross server guild structure and I hope once bigger issues are fixed that this is looked at appropiately.

From what I’ve been seeing, almost everyone afflicted with problems are either running 32-bit systems, or have an Nvidia GTX and/or TI card.

This isn’t just a problem tied to 32bit operating systems or Nvidia users. It’s happening to 64bit and AMD users aswell. So this “known issue” is obviously bigger than Arenanet understand it to be.

This really needs to be stressed, IT IS NOT JUST A NVIDIA OR 32BIT OPERATING SYSTEM ISSUE, because I don’t want Arenanet thinking that 64bit operating system users or AMD users don’t have the same issue. THEY DO!

I have uninstalled drivers completely (including using Driver Fusion as reccommended), reinstalled drivers from fresh (12.8 and 12.7), tried the Guild Wars 2 file repair, tried the new CAP for Guild Wars 2. I have also tried reverting my overclocked CPU to stock, still the same issue.

It makes no difference what I try. It still happens randomly, and mostly it happens often. It is worth noting I had no such issues during any of the betas.
