Hi
My team now has two open slots that need filling. Other classes than the ones mentioned are welcome to apply if they can show that they work with our composition.
We are aiming high, and want only members who are dedicated to becoming a great team. Our goal is to compete at the highest level in all European tournaments.
Of course teamspeak AND a microphone are obligatory, and a passable level of spoken English.
Currently the team consists of hybrid engineer (me), bunker guardian, and D/D elementalist. We are looking for a versatile warrior that can run a few meta builds, but primarily hambow. In the second slot we are looking for a celestial staff elementalist (no paper please!) as a node holder/team fighter.
If you are interested, please whisper me in-game and we will do some team queue together.
Why do you think GW2 is worthy of your time for competitive play? Why not something like LoL, DotA, Hearthstone etc that have larger esports communities and companies behind them that care about driving the games as competitive esports?
As per title.
In League of Legends you cannot queue in Ranked until you’ve played a certain number of games. It should be the same for tPvP arenas!
You should need to reach a certain rank before you can queue in tPvP. I see it quite often – inexperienced players queue up alone or together and give the enemy team a free win because they cannot play their class nor do they understand the maps.
It seems to be a pretty regular occurrence in solo queue that you get level 1 players new to sPvP that accidentally join solo queue thinking that’s the obvious path to follow to hop in a match. They proclaim they don’t know what’s going on and apologise for being new. Simple solution is to add a big tutorial arrow that points to the game browser and says “If you’re new, try playing here first!”. As is, it’s just frustrating for players who want to have a competitive match with players who know how to play the maps and their class.
Thanks.
I think this is self-explanatory and an absolute must. People grow tired of their names, people realise they’ve picked the wrong name by the time they hit 80 and so on. A lot of people would avail of this in the gem store too, no doubt.
Apologies if it has been posted here before, I couldn’t find anything via search.
