Just as much as you duellists like to make your voices heard, so do we anti-duellists. That’s what discussions are all about – opposing views.

If you read my post you’d see I don’t even care to duel myself, I just think that denying other people that ability because “you don’t like seeing people dueling” is absolutely ridiculous. If you have some legitimate concern about why they shouldn’t be allowed, I respect your opinion. I don’t however, respect the opinion of someone who doesn’t want people to be able to enjoy something simply because they personally don’t like seeing people enjoy something.

Definite yes. I personally won’t be dueling, but its a neat way to test yourself against friends. All you need is an option to toggle viewing requests. If they find it fun and it doesn’t actually interfere with your gameplay then there shouldn’t be a problem.

I would love a cape. I mean, i’m not going to quit the game over it or anything, that’s just straight up ridiculous, but I will say aesthetically they’re a pretty big deal for me. I mean nothing really says epic like a long billowing cape. Sure its a personal preference, but they could always add a hide cape option, or you could just wear a corny looking backpack. Its extra content (Of a sort, at least) and it certainly doesn’t hurt the experience of anyone else. As for people complaining about it not fitting, its a fantasy setting with swords and magic, this is exactly the setting for which it belongs. Really how dense are some of you people? Because “another game” has capes, that by adding them here it will eventually turn this game into a different one? That’s insane thinking. Please, add them in, because it really doesn’t hurt anyone and there’s lots of people who want them.

This is pretty standard stuff for roleplayers, and its certainly doesn’t impact anyone who doesn’t want to roleplay. Definitely yes.
