Your equipment has absolutely no effect on your pets stats.
Does this same logic also apply to summoned pets, i.e. elementals, minions summoned by a necromancer, etc.?
I am trying to figure out how stats work for pets. I am aware that each pet has a predetermined set of stats when you first tame them. And I am curious how/if those stats change as you obtain better gear. I’m going to assume that pet stats go up by some static amount each time you level. However, once you’ve reached level 80, do pet stats continue to increase as you equip better and better gear? For instance, if I have a bear whose main stats are toughness, vitality, and power (generally speaking), and I equip, say, beserker gear, will my bear immediately gain more power, crit chance, and crit damage as a result?
Collections 1, 2, and 3 for the new legendaries, Hope, Astralia, and Nevermore, are listed in the same tabs as collections 1, 2, and 3 for the old generation of legendaries (only Hope, Astralia, and Nevermore have collection 4 available). Unfortunately, because collections 1-3 are all grouped together, I mistakenly thought that this meant that all of the old generation legendaries would receive a fourth collection (and eventually an associated HoT legendary) at some point in time. So, I crafted the 3rd tier precursor weapon for frostfang, thinking its fourth collection would be released at some point in time. Sadly, I just found out that this isn’t really the case, and that I essentially wasted all of my money (and time) crafting it. I would have never made this mistake if everything hadn’t been grouped together the way it is.
