Guild Wars 2

Thanks a bunch guys I will give it another go with a free trial account for my GF, and I’ll try and get my old account up and running again.

I haven’t played the game since launch, I don’t know even the basics of the game anymore.

I recently met other people that play the game and talked me into giving it another shot, I looked at the " Buy guild wars 2 options" but noticed they didn’t include the previous expansion, but also included :

Max-Level Boost – Feel like I shouldn’t use this as such a new player
Additional Character Slot – Is this a big deal for someone who may only play 2 professions?

Identity Repair Kit – Not sure what this is
Spearmarshal’s Presence – Also not sure what this is
Lily of the Elon Permanent Pass – Yep also very unsure
4000 Gems – Not sure if these are worth the extra 30$ or not

I know a lot of this info might be available on the site(s) out and about, but its hard to understand what they give me or if it would be worth it. Do I need Heart of thrones to unlock any professions, or content that is still played?
