I am trying to figure this out too from a little bit of playing on Druid that I did in Beta. Now I have a level 80 ranger, but I haven’t played the class very much since Guardian was always my main. I love supporting a group, and Druid seems more fun to me.
I currently run my Ranger in a condi build with Axe/Torch and Rabid gear.
For the Druid, I’m not sure what gear I should focus on. I was using Celestial to solo during the beta just because it was made available and that seemed to work fine.
I used staff and shortbow, switching between them especially using shortbow 3 when I needed to quickly retreat. I was trying to stay at range and let my pet tank stuff.
The smokescale pet was awesome and was doing massive damage while having 40k hit points, I don’t know if this was intended or not to be this powerful.
Using the staff I was able to build up plenty of celestial force ( the energy needed to use the healing form) and I could pop into healing form when needed to heal me or the pet if we got a little overrun.
I’m guessing if I was going to heal a raid, I might have to equip a different set than if I’m soloing, since I’m assuming only healing power affects heal effectiveness ( and not power or precision).
I’m not going to be running around in Celestial in the real game anytime soon.
Another Christian guild that is still active is SALT on Fort Aspenwood.

I am looking for the same! It is great to see that there are 3 different guilds mentioned here. Unfortunately none of them are on my home server, Sanctum of Rall. I know it doesn’t matter for PvE, but it would be cool to be able to WvW with a guild as well, and I’d rather not shell out the money for a transfer. If anyone knows of a Christian guild on SoR, I would really appreciate the info.
I didn’t do much WvW when I played before, and I’ve never been part of an organized group, so I can’t say for certain right now if that would be a big part of my playing time.
It’s something I figured I would do once I hit level 80.
So I’d rather find a guild that is on SoR so we wouldn’t have to transfer, but I’d consider transferring in the future for the right guild.
I have recently returned to GW2 and I’m looking for a guild that my husband and I can represent on Sanctum of Rall.
I have many years of MMORPG experience, going all the way back to Everquest. I had the honor of doing beta testing for GW2 and played for a short while after launch.
I have a lot more free time on my hands these days but I consider myself a casual player. I play a thief mainly and I’m getting close to reaching level 80, so I’ll be looking to run dungeons and whatever else you do at max level.
My husband and I play together a lot and we still have things to learn in this game and are looking for some people to play with and possibly learn from.
We aren’t heavy into PvP, but do enjoy it occasionally, especially as an organized group.
We are mature (age 35+) and interested in guilds that act with integrity.
What would be a good guild for us?
Thanks for reading.
