My client is constantly crashing,. getting a 7:11:3:191:101 error about 5 minutes after logging on, and then it cuts out to a black screen with a 58:11:5:535:101 error code. this is on a MAC beta client. It happens a few minutes after logging on. i keep trying fixes that i see have been recommended in other posts, but it doesn’t help. Only started after latest patch. I’m a hairs width away from uninstalling the kitten game and asking for my money back for buying the expansion a couple weeks ago. The lack of responses on recent issues like this is ridiculous, not to mention the fact that the MAC client has been in Beta status for like 3 kittening years. I wouldn’t mind it still being in beta stage if this crap didn’t happen.

I will adjust my tone if i get a response from a dev or support specialist or whatever.

(fixes i have tried:
Changing to open DNS
Deleting application support folder for GW2 and restarting client.
Restarting router, though everything else internet related works fine so that was redundant.
Lowering graphics quality to low on everything.)

Nothing i do seems to work.

For those of you having TP freeze/crash:

What browser is your default browser?

I don’t know if this is causing it but I keep having a java error pop up when I’m using Chrome, which I had set for default. I also had the TP crash happening frequently. I switched my default browser to Firefox and I haven’t had it crash once.

Just wondering if that’ll help other people too. If the TP is accessing a browser to pull up the data it might be that it’s using your default browser to do it and accessing java which is having problems right now with the latest update.

This is getting kittening ridiculous. I stop playing for a week, expecting to log on and continue crafting bolt because I mean hey, surely they fixed this problem that is entirely their fault to begin with, and what happens? I see that I have money waiting for me in the TP and I decide to open it up, and the kitten doesn’t load, and of course after I exited the Tp my game froze again forcing me to force restart my computer. WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU GUYS DOING? It’s kittening mid November and the poisonous update you guys put out and forced us to download in October is still a shiny piece of flaming dog kitten.

Here, at least they are telling us they are aware of it and working on it.

Also, I’m just gonna throw this out there since no other Mac user has said it on this post, but when the crap are we gonna get a non buggy version of the game that’s not still in beta stage after 2 years being active? Mac users are people too…. Lol

TP doesn’t load properly and the moment I exit the TP, the game freezes and I’m unable to even force quit the application. After force restarting my computer, and attempting to reopen the game, it freezes again around 10 seconds after I’ve opened the application itself. Been going on for a few weeks, and has gotten worse after the patch. I even tried restarting my laptop 15 times last night to no avail. I then even tried a full wipe and restore of my computer to rule out any software issues with my Mac, and after reinstalling the application, it still does it.

Yeah I definitely feel your pain. Matter of fact I tried erasing and restoring my Mac back to factory settings (been needing to clean it up like that for a while anyway) and reinstalled the client overnight, and it’s STILL doing that. What really hacks me off is that the mac version has been in beta for like 2 years now. You would think that ANET would care more about their Mac client users than this. It’s obviously not our computers, it’s probably that they have neglected to update the compatibility of the game with new versions of the Mac OS, since they don’t seem to have Mac users on their list of priorities at all. I’ve been playing this for like 14 months now and I’ve always had issues with the trading post, but never this bad until like a few weeks ago. It’s like whenever It freezes it won’t even let me reopen the client for hours…. So irritating. I’m glad I found your post though cause hopefully more people will comment on this saying that this is happening to them too and maybe it will get noticed.

For me, when the trading post freezes my game, and I’m forced to force close the game, about 10 seconds after reopen it, it freezes again. I’ve tried to restart my computer and open it again about 15 times now to no avail. Everything else on my computer works fine except the game client. Kind of kittenes me off, as I was in the process of finishing up making Bolt when this happened.
