Warrior definatley has some flaws but nothing to merit not rolling one. Problem really is compounded by some of the balance issues else where…Between Culling thieves that you see for 1 sec every 5, and DD Ele’s that have insane mobility, moderate DMG and wicked heals, and can take a hit….and then of course warriors best skills rooting the player on activation…Put that all together and you have a recipe for a frustrated Forum poster…..Thats what your see’ing people upset from being crushed by a strong player on a class that seems to have an insane advantage.
On the other hand I ran a five warrior CoF the other day and it was the fastes most dominating run Ive ever seen. Games are crushed these days based on PvP class balance….Ive seen it happen to every MMO Since SWG. Every game loses a massive amount of Subs in the first year now adays….Its part of the mentality of Consumers….Short attention spans, lack of dedication to improve, and the grass is always greener…blah blah blah.

Dps Depending on weapon choice is going to revolve around Strength, Arms, and Probably 10 points in Disc.
If you want middle of the road dps and survival throw some points into defense line, especially if you run Hammer or Mace/Shield. It really depends on your weapon set up.
Basically choose the weapon sets your going to run, and if your going full dps, CC build, Or hybrid support…Then someone could probably more accurately anser your questions.
It should be a practice of the GM’s to perma enable the language filters on accounts that report people for bad language……

Tell our HoH and CE guilds to stop exploiting. They got lucky they didn’t make it all the way up the wall at Redbriar in AR BL or I would have gotten that screen shot.
Exploiting seems to be pretty common in WvW I have witnessed one type or another from people on my own server, and Pretty much one instance from Every server we have competed against. I have even left maps and WvW competely on occasions when I became aware large scale exploiting was occuring.
I dont call guilds or servers out over it… I just report the people involved with a screenshot ASAP…Honestly I dont care if its the Top commander on the server…It should never happen, Exploiters no matter “the justification” should be banned period.
Some folks unknowingly participate at times Ive seen this as well…Portal wall climbers leading zergs into keeps etc….People dont understand whats happening right away they just go along….It happens. The leaders of said event should be banned not the mindless zergs of noobs running from location to location etc…..
Yesterday We came across a Theif and Warrior in EBL that were going out and kiting groups back to a slope so they could exploit the terrain to go invulnerable then wipe up half a dozen low levels for badges that didnt understand what was happening…Im sure they farmed quite a few people this way….We cornered them and waited them out so they dropped a stealth field and ran…Atleast we ousted them from their trap.
I guess my point is this is a great match up and I hope people will keep it on the level…If you see people exploiting (even from your own server) Please take screens and report them asap….Atleast get them out of the match for a few days. This game is very fun why let a few bad eggs ruin the experience for everyone…Especially newer players that are not aware to avoid said situations.

So it appears my assumption that no accounts would be unlocked over the weekend was wrong…My account was just unlocked. Basically they said my account was banned in error and is now open for play. Thanks for that.

I changed my Password and added an Authenticator to the account…Still not unlocked but I have a strong beleif that the Email Authentication process is responsible for my account lock. Mobile Authenticators disable that feature in favor of the Security Authenticator.
I believe the Email Authenticator from Anet reports back any Additional IP adresses being logged and then Bans your account….Regardless if you “Authenticated” each adress through your Email….Since you actually Authenticate it they assume you are then account sharing etc….and then ban your account with the idea that you will leave it or they can sort it out after…AKA they dont investigate prior to the ban only after if you protest.
This is the concept that promted the founding fathers in America to write a couple well known documents
Like I stated I believe I was banned for logging in to the Forums on my work Laptop which happens to be on a lerge Network based out of state…Once I pinged Anet with a Random IP address, even though I authenticated it through me Email…they banned me….I obviously have not recieved any details from Anet since the 30th so this is my assumption. Pretty sure I wasnt hacked Since the Email account was created specifically for this game and has not been used for anything else….AKA would be pretty tough for anyone to get it….Either way the account is more secure now…Hopefully I get some feedback in the next week on my account being unlocked….
I have noticed several people openly admit to account sharing and wondering why they were banned, and some bought codes from shady dealers etc….. I did none of these things, and as it is I actually read user agreements, and anything else I agree to for that matter. I havnt broken the agreement.
I have been vocally negative about Anets CS and response time…I will continue to do so…because its true. My account was infact banned due some error, or Security misconception..

Well I hope they actually answer the tickets….I uninstalled GW2 it was taking up space on my SSD…Im not going to log in every day to see if they managed to restore an account that should have never been blocked to begin with.
PS I wouldnt hold your breath that any accounts will be unlocked over the weekend…If you were not unblocked yesterday you more then likely will remain banned until Monday. I havnt seen any form of them Ramping up staffing to deal with this problem I highly doubt they are going to put in OT to put anyone back in the game…Their response to the massivly hosed up ban fest has been so lackluster I just dont see it happening.

Recieved an Auto Reply saying to check my Email for an incomplete Authentication…Even though my Account is locked for “Code of Conduct violations” AKA Botting etc…. I have had no further responses about my accounts status….Im pretty sure I was flagged for logging in on my work PC (to the forums only) which requested Email Authentication (Which I completed) My work PC is on an out of state Network. From my understanding as long as you follow the authentication process you should not be flagged….But I think I was infact flagged regardless of the process in place to prevent this….and then banned for logging multiple IP addresses…Even though I authenticated them through the system in place.
Can you please check on my account… I have no idea whats going on, or if they have even looked at my account since the Generic Auto reply which really didnt have much to do with being banned for something I didnt do…..Now I suppose my account may have been hacked….Although I created a new Email specifically for this game so that would be tough…But it could have happened I suppose….However unlikely.

I logged into the forums to post from my work Laptop which is on an out of state Network and will kick back with several different IP addresses…Immediately after I was banned for Botting, Third party programs, extended unattended play etc….I see others have had a similar scenario occur. Sounds like If you ping their authentication system with multiple IP addresses you will trigger their security and get banned.
I have also been severly edited by the moderators of this forum who apperently dont like my attitude on the topic of their over achieving security, and slow follow up CS.
Every day that goes by my opnion of Anet gets a little lower…Way to hose your customers and then start running damage control on the forums when someone says something you dont like…This is a joke. A joke that cost me 60 bucks…Anet I hope you can imagine the amount of bad press Im going to hand out for a very long time…and keep black bagging my posts or just suspend my forum rights…Its the only way Ill stop and I cant get into the game I paid for so you might as well double tap me…..

Yes the “MMO in Space” and I played all phases of beta, All through early release and Never had to wait over 24hrs for a response…some auto, some live chat. None of these issues locked me out of the game for no reason…if they had there was a 24hr phone support CS to call and gget you back in ASAP. I can appreciate defending a game you like but some people waited up to 13 days so far to get unwarranted Bans lifted….Sorry thats not even close to acceptable….And this company is not new to MMO’s its not like you can say they have never dealt with this level of CS before…thay have it Email only for a buffer from the community….Its easier on them, and buys them time straight up.
Im curious how long its gonna take for them to unlock my account…I wont be playing..any game from Anet ever again TBH… but Im still curious. Its a good game…Worst Customer Service I have ever experienced since I started MMO’s in 2003..

Im bagging GW2 Im not irrate I just cant see playing this game after this…Sad part is I like the game…But this is over the top bad service Im only 3 days in on my unwarranted “Botting” ban and Ive seen people that have waited up to 13 days…..
I just called another MMO customer service to have my Old Security Key removed as I changed phones and didnt bother to move the APP over…I waited around 2 mins…Got a live CS Rep…They removed the key, offered to set up a new one on the phone for me….Asked If I wouldnt mind rating his service in an email poll and I was done in about 5 mins…..Thats Customer Service for a company this size….I wont mention the other game but it is sub based..but is going FTP because the model has proven more succesful in the current market….This is their first MMO…so they are not more established then Anet…… 3 days…13 days…its all horrible CS, and thats not ok with me. I regret ever purchasing GW2 to begin with after this experience….and thats what everyone will here from me from this day forth. Not mad, just have never been ok with bad service….and companies need to b e held accountable for their mistakes just like they are trying to hold people accountable for brwaking their rules….apperently a misguided job…but they are clearly trying.

Incident# 121031-000399 Still banned for Botting/Macros still didnt use any of those…still waiting to get my account back that I have barely been able to play…Still waiting for Anet to instate Phone CS access so I can call them on the phone and resolve this in 5 mins or less like any other large MMO……

I think they are getting blown up to be honest..So many people starting to pop up saying they were wrongfully banned…Seems like Anet had something really go sideways…..
Its happening all over the place…Many people have been randomly banned over the last 24hrs I being one of them…all you can do is file a support request and wait…This also happened aw3hile back and some people are still locked out…Some got it unloacked after 10 days etc…and they didnt do a thing to be banned…Anet has really messed up here…and they have no live support which is horrid….Expect to wait a long time, and expect this thread to get locked because thats what they have been doing….There are several threads running because its happening constantly….Anety is banning its good customers because they apperently didnt sort out a security update before putting it into effect, and their Email Support system is inept.

Seems pretty clear they updated their security profiles somehow and basically banned a bunch of innocent players in the process. Im not irritated it happened….Im furious there is no live customer care for these sort of things. Sitting for days and longer because Anet has no direct contact method and can hide behind anonymity and take their time is not acceptable….

Yeah Ive been banned since last night…Filed a Support ticket ASAP..Received an automated response saying I need to go to my account Email and complete the Login authentication process……..Well first what does that have to do with being banned for botting? Second I dont get a request when I attempt to login from my Home PC/IP only when I log in on my work PC which is another IP address…Which may have sparked this I dont know….None the less their Auto response was no help at all. I updated my ticket with more information requesting they please actually investigte why I was banned…A notice saying Im banned for Botting is clearly not an authentication issue…….

Unless someone actually helps me soon Im just going to write of the 60 bucks for the purchase (Two weeks ago) and the 20 bucks for gems so I could buy some cool skins for my level 15 and level 20……Hardly seems worth all this garbage at this point…Bad customer service for sure though…Really bad.
I was just permanently banned for several reasons none of which are accurate. It seems to be happening frequently to many people… only had the game two weeks I don’t run any macros or third party programs and never have…. yet out of all the MMO’s ive played with never a single infraction now Ive been robbed of 60 dollars via false accusations…. I filed a support ticket. This is pretty terrible service…. the whole shoot first ask questions later thing is pretty easy when there is no sub and you already have my money….. fix it!

I was just permanent banned like an hour ago….im a 37 year old construction worker that pure based this game two weeks ago… I play evenings and last weekend…. and apperently I am running a bot program according to Arena net who just decided to relieve me of 60 of my hard earned dollars. I logged in to the forums on my laptop which triggered an IP verification…… now I’m a BOT? Last time I checked logging in on a second computer isn’t against the rules…. I’m not HAPPY! I’m a new customer and this is not a good experience…. its pretty clear there are some serious issues here and its going rampant. Get it under control please.
I was permanent banned tonight no idea why…..I have the box sitting on my desk which I just purchased two weeks ago……I have played an average amount and broken no rules…. I am seeing this show up in other posts as well…..sounds like they got the ban part down but instead of botts and hackers they are just banning random helpless folks. If they don’t unlock my account asap its fine…. ill walk away with my guild in tow and never purchase from this company again….. really wicked bad service. Just ban innocent folks because your system is clearly junk….. here is a. crazy idea…investigate before you ban people.
Something is going on… I was also just banned for zero reason. I’m new to the game about two weeks…I play evenings and weekends and have never broken any rules period….. I just filed a pretty blunt ticket about this because it is completely wrong. They essentially just closed my account with zero reason. I was never contacted or warned or anything…. just permanent account closure. This is such bad service…I work major hours and just want to come home and play……. instead I’m paying the price for hackers and farmers..due to a scrappy system with apperently no investigation involved.
