You mean: get rid of everything I’ve ever achieved on the character except the achievements and maybe a few items unless I buy endless more storage space, do the entire story over again, level to 80 etc etc..?

Not gonna happen. Not when I get a “we don’t have any way to change it”, yet- don’t they change the name on inappropriate characters?

Makes you wonder.. but I’ve given up. Not gonna be spending much time in the game on principal, anymore.

Ugh I give up.. getting a pretty straight “no way to change your name back” through the support page/e-mail.. so I’ll just have to live it until an option for it, when ever that happens..

I’m gonna have to correct myself- I found a video from Oct 26 (probably recorded the same day or the previous day) and the name appears as “Spritual Symphony”, yet in an older video its “Spiritual Symphony”.

Hello Gaile! I’ve been e-mailing in the “Ask A Question” as well. But yes.

The name “Spiritual Symphony” has been mine since Guild Wars Factions (made it for a Ritualist, thought it fit well) and I’ve been backing GW since the Beta of Guild Wars Prophecies.

Spiritual Symphony was my name in every beta I participated in on GW 2, and its been my name in-game since the head start // launch of the game. Its my main character on the Underworld server (EU), a norn, Mesmer (due to illusions.)

Everything ON the character itself seems fine, I can’t see any items missing at all- nor in my guild’s storage bank, which I’m the leader of, its JUST the name all of a sudden missing the “i” You’d think I’d notice during the headstart or the months I’ve played now if I did it wrong?

I’ve also been using the mobile authenticator as long as it’s been avaliable, and it happened at some point after the Halloween update and this Lost Shores update.

The responses I’ve gotten so far is “we can’t change your name but a feature will be added at some point..” etc.

There’s no way, at all, that this was spelled wrong from the head start on. No way. If the game allowed to show ones character name above the character you’re playing as, it would show in all my screen shots. The closest I can get is to try find someone elses screen shot with my characters name in it. I know its in a few videos as I’m whispering someone (WoodenPotates on Youtube) as he was recording. On multiple occasions.

The character names on my account are themed, if you like, Spiritual Symphony (mesmer), Spiritual Serenity and Spiritual Synergy. The two others to make up the 5 total are 2 names from my GW 1 account that I would not want to lose.

Its only this character that is affected, and I have no clue as to why, incredibly frustrating as I look like an illiterate kitten in-game (pardon the language.)

So this is weird.. I’ve been out of GW2 for about 1-2 weeks, that being I was waiting for the Windows 8 update from Logitech so my mouse and headset would work properly. That issue is now fixed and I can play just as before.

When I logged on today, everything seemed fine until I was about to type a msg in-game, 3 of my 5 used character slots start with the name “Spiritual”, but now that’s only true for two (2) of them. My main character is missing one of the letters “i” in the first name “Spiritual” and its now just “Spritual”- wth happened? All of my other characters names are still what they are suppose to be, and no, none of them have offensive names in any sense. It was the first character I made, and always will be my main, so why has the name changed all of a sudden?

I’d like to get my mains name back!

Labyrinth one just worked on Underworld (EU), hasn’t been for 1-2 weeks, so I finally got the World Map Completed 100%! Hells yes!!
