Now, 3 weeks after I changed world and back again I finally have my bonuses. Still doesn’t explain why I and several others didn’t have when playing on same server since launch.
Hopefully this means it’s fixed and not just random luck and later finding it being gone again.
Just fix it for the rest now too, and give some response on the matter. It’s been very quiet about this even after more and more spoke up about this problem.
Issue is known but progress on the matter is slow. They say you have to wait one, maybe two weeks after transfer to get it. No clear information. However many have never had it at all regardless of being on same world since start.
When you play with someone that the buffs are working as intended for you notice fairly quickly you don’t get the gather bonus for example. And when playing with the same person for over a month like me you can be 100% sure
So when buffs are not showing up on hover it’s not just an UI problem, they are just not working at all. That’s how it is for me anyway, but I would think its the same for all here.
(I guess another way of checking if they are working is checking your hp in overflow and compare to when on regular world. If you world has achieved the hp buff you would get more hp when not in overflow. At least that’s how I read it should work. Can’t be sure since I never had the buff working)
How can you tell if you’re getting the bonuses or not?
I remember in Beta that they all showed up as Buffs above your skill bar. Does this still happen, as I have not seen anywhere else on the UI which indicates that I’m getting them?
How can you tell if you are receiving the bonuses or not? In the betas there was a rook symbol near the health orb that you can hover over to see the bonuses but I haven’t seen that since release. I’ve been on the same server since BWE1.
It’s at the top left of the screen now. You can mouse over the guild and WvW icons to see what bonuses you’re getting. I’ve been on Ehmry Bay since the day of release and haven’t swapped once and still don’t get bonuses, nor have I ever got them in any previous matchups.
Been on Gandara since launch, never had any bonuses. Switched server and back again last week to see if it would fix the problem. So only one match passed since then I guess, will see what happens after the weekend then.
EDIT: I’m fairly sure the scores already been reset twice since I moved back. No bonuses.
Problem is still there for me as well. It’s been a week since I sent in ticket about this, were the first response indicated they didn’t even read it properly and the second response was just a generic thanks for submitting this bug etc.
Could we please get som acknowledgement of this bug and some indication that its being fixed.
It’s very frustrating thinking about how much exp, drop, materials etc we’ve been missing out on when not getting the wvw bonus other have. And it just gets worse every day I log in and see it’s still not fixed.
Already missed over a month of bonuses, don’t let it be another month please.
Have probably never had the world bonuses working on my characters, I just didn’t realize until recently when I started to look into why I never was able to get lucky and harvest nodes a second time like others.
I tried to change world just to see if the problem would fix itself but still no world bonuses for me. Just like OP I dont see any bonuses when hovering the cursor over WvW button.
I don’t mind the fee for resetting trait points. It’s still Very cheap and many games keep charging more everytime you change. MMO games needs natural “money sinks” to stop inflation.
However I would really like the ability to have 2 trait setups available. I believe I’m far from the only one wanting different builds for regular pve and dungeons for example.
Having the same issue here. My friend and I play on the same world and he get to harvest nodes more than once fairly often. Seems more frequent on plants than ores or trees but thats just a feeling we have.
Me on the other hand have never been able to harvest anything more than once (except Rich nodes of course). Not a single time. And this is all while playing 2 characters to lvl 80 + some lower ones.
Something really seems off you know, our luck cant be -that- different.
EDIT: By the way we have both been on same world since game launch, no transfers.
Playing on Gandara and have also been getting a lot of lag since last night. The game is more or less unplayable as it is now. Seen a lot of other players in chat experiencing the same issues.
