It’s the only trappish elite skill for a condition ranger, otherwise without traiting into spirits you have to use rampage as one. If the condition damage changed like it says on the ability I wouldn’t mind that it doesn’t last that long since the bleeds are 20 sec bleeds. I know it’s pretty good in pve against multiple targets but I mainly pvp and without the bleeds it’s, imo, not as good as muddy terrain and certainly not as good as rampage as one.

So I was looking at elite skills and just testing them on the dummies when I noticed though it says the damage changes on the skill entangle with your condition damage, it in fact is always 42 or 43. This makes an already pretty bad elite skill worse since it doesn’t even fit into a condition damage build as well now. Here are my pics in the mists first with my amulet on, 1469 CD, and second with it off, 546. The entangle abitity with the amulet on says it deals 18,552 and with it off says it deals 11,168.

I’ve been playing pvp mostly so I don’t know if these problems happen outside of it, but i’m guessing yes.

Hunter’s “Lick Wounds” ability doesn’t seem to do anything except have my pet run over to me, it doesn’t heal me even when the pet and I aren’t being attacked. At first I thought it was because my pet was “down” but even if I summon my other pet and then hit lick wounds it doesn’t work. To be honest its a three ability that doesn’t really come into play unless its a one on one and you are both down, but it would be nice if it wasn’t useless.

Pet abilities aren’t what they say in the text. For example Blue Moa’s “protecting screech” is not a 11 sec protection with a 1 min 40 sec cool down its more of a 2-3 sec protection with a 34 sec cooldown. I don’t know if the text has to be updated or the ability but one is wrong, same idea with the fern hound’s regen ability. I’ve heard of more but I’ve never experienced them.

I just posted about this with my ranger’s traps. I saw on other sites that people thought the ground targeted aoe went through the floor of clock tower and to the area below, its defiantly a bug though and makes condition rangers with traps even less effective. Does the aoe heal spring work up there?

I’ve seen people talk about it other places, at first I thought it was just sometimes but for the last 6 or 7 games or so I can’t get ranger traps to activate in the Clock Tower upper level in pvp. Previous to this I didn’t use traps in my build so I don’t know how long this has been a thing.

I’m using ground targeting, single click so I don’t see the green or red circles. I don’t know if that matters but the animation of throwing it is there and then no white circle appears and no trap goes off, no bleeds or burning debuffs on enemies. The skills have their full cool down after I do it as well so I don’t know where the traps are going but its not in the clock tower.
