if you have not yet finished the living season 3 episode 4: head of the snake, beware of spoiler alerts.

so, I finished through the story today, and with caudacus having been publically called out as being leader of the white mantle, having been executed etc. I was just looking through Divinities Reach, noticing that some of the NPC within divinities reach are still “caudacus sympathisers” (praising caudacus) etc. I think this does ruin a part of the immersion of the game and I assume (hope) that this is merely something that got overlooked and will be fixed in an upcoming patch.

to answer this topic directly: piken is alive and well (as can be seen in our current WvW score)

the only question there would be is what timezone you play, because there are certain time zones piken doesn’t have alot of players…

so funny, SFR complaining about VZ night force and stuff :P

SFR night force is no match for pikens 30 night players for sure!

why so much hate for Vizunah? because they can play PPT better than anyone else?

All this dont attack RS come by first week, when u did the same with vizuna on us, so u got payed with the same money, eat dat and try to be fair next times.

I don’t know if you’ve seen the statistics, but we attacked vizunah almost equally. besides, when it was VZ, PS and SFR never ever it happened we were camping a keep gate of SFR that Viz was capping or the other way around. we did flip SM from Viz many times, and RS never flipped your SM, all they ever do is endless trebbing,

and when it comes to open field fights, stomping Viz is even better than stomping SFR because Viz gives better fights. they aren’t as squishy as SFR players and they actually have proper commanders.

last night EB was so hilarious, SFR camping our keep gate while RS was stacked inside the cap circle without even looking at eachother, and still 2 blobs took more than 3 minutes to kill my guard XD

boring, loads of queue, loads of QQ on the forums, loads of blobs and not much solo roaming guild groups, not to forget the lagg (most likely caused by the blobs)

this could be similar to disease condition from GW1, I think GW1 players who did alot of FA, JQ or AB know how annoying it was :P

my opinion: the best guilds I’ve seen on SFR are OSC and NK. they are in fact the only real WvW guilds that are running with mainly guild themselves.

we only did reset on piken, saturday on ER and monday on Piken, tomorrow we’re on SFR, though if you run over 15 people you’d not find much of a challenge in running over us due to our raids for now being small scale

VG is piken best guild. No idea is it even guild or some one man show, but it’s still best.

VG was called into existance after me as ex-leader of GG left GG and created it because I felt GG didnt fit my style of gameplay anymore, after which a couple of GG officers joined me. we’re not a big guild yet which I am asking 10 to 15 man guilds to join the borders we are, so we get like even number fights.

just so you know, I mean the same GG that SCND came from.

well, at first: I havent lost an open field fight in even numbers yet from SFR… usually SFR runs over the group that I play with, with at least twice the number. other than that, didn’t you notice that in all the other matchup topics with piken there is far less flaming and QQ’ing? maybe SFR has something to do with it?

my opinion: the best guilds I’ve seen on SFR are OSC and NK. they are in fact the only real WvW guilds that are running with mainly guild themselves.

as far as I recall, most wining and trolling last time we fought against SFR was done by SFR… not to forget that the players that might potentially do that might just be people on piken, and not all core members of our WvW community…

anyway, had great fun this night doing some Player vs Blob with VG

and what was most fun last night was our fight with sparta in which we charged sparta (10 VG vs at least 30 sparta I think?) to cover our commander but she fell of a cliff XD

Be smart and go to PvP you are in the wrong place.

if you think WvW is meant for blob vs blob, well thats your thing, but ever noticed that if you have smaller group fights there never is skill lagg?

what matters on who has the biggest kittening blob, or who wins how. it’s a game and its all about enjoying yourselves and having fun. if you like to roam in a small group or do raids with 10 people, do that, if you like to mindlessly follow a commander and spam 1 on your weapon, do so, but stop the kittening wining!

Dear Commander and Guild Leader.

1st I have the commander tag so my opinion it’s not only as a follower, of course I understand the logic of small groups or roomers, if they intend to escort dolys or flip camps, but this “warriors” talking here just go to WWW with PvP builds, just to kill other players, not to get any points, like the old scheme of the sentinel ambush.

It’s very strange that you are a commander and don’t know your main force should have builds for WWW, and you try to discuss that.

Just one more time, WWW isn’t PvP, WWW isn’t GvG, but you can do want ever you want to do.

obviously I didn’t say that the people actually following the commander should run PvP builds, did I?
besides that, PvP means Player Versus Player, and WvW is mainly focussed on players killing other players, so if that is what you do, than obviously running a PvP build isn’t such a strange idea.

besides that, I run the same build for commanding, following, GvG and roaming…

I don’t understand all this crap, why not just say that this GvG never happened? ZDs didn’t want to do it, Mya challenged them through another guild name, and ZDs won even though people say they’re cheating, and there even are people asking why Mya doesn’t confirm it on the website? I mean, is it so hard to just forget this and say nothing has happened?

and about GvG challenges, VG would accept any GvG challenge if we had proper numbers. maybe you lose ranking, but what you lose in ranking you gain in experience. even if you get totally beaten you still learn from it. if VG had 20 people to do a GvG and RG would want to GvG us (if they still were around) we would accept it, as well as if ZDs would or any other guild. besides that, as Mya pointed out, its not about winning or losing, its about fun, and what happened here was no fun and all the QQ’ing and discussing on the forums wont make it fun (unless you enjoy this kind of drama), so why not just put it behind, and maybe do a GvG Mya vs ZDs in the next matchup of Piken vs SFR.

Props to the small guild that we had a couple of fights with last night. I dont remember their tag but it started with an S and they ran with about 5 to 10 people, really great fights
too bad whenever we fought FUN, a second later ZDs would turn up

and about those who speak of blobs here: please remember that if you run a 30 man raid you got no reason to QQ about stuff, VG runs with 5 to 10 (usually 5 because the rest is in queue)
