Is this a bug or intended?
Feels kinda like a waste of time winning but not getting “rewarded” for it.
Edit: It was a ranked match, and it does not even show up in the game history.

Got same problem, posted it in Eu down thread already.. but no support.
Yeah I saw that post and since I also had it I figured there are more people having the same issue and I thought it deserves its own thread.
So I can’t join the queue the only visible buttons are the “Exit” and “Unranked Arena” button while not queueing but the “Unranked Arena” button is not clickable. Tried to queue with some friends and I was able to accept but when the queue popped I could not see it and therefor we could not start. When I left the party everything worked fine for them…
EDIT: Forgot to mention that relogging, zoning out of Heart of the mists and changing characters does not work to fix it either.
EDIT2: I was thinking about what I was doing when this happened. First I queued up normally (the UI was looking normal), while in queue a friend invited me to a group which I accepted and then my team queued up . I do not know if this is the cause of the problem but that is the only thing I did before the “queue buttons” stopped working.

Hi, I have condition-based grenade kit build that i use and is both supportive and has great condition damage and easy to stay alive.
The main weapons you use are pistol and shield as you mentioned but most of the time you will stay in the grenade kit which is your main source of dps. Though you should swap to your weapons to use skill 2 + 3 and the others when necessary.
Healing slot: Elixir H, i love this skill because of high heal + extra boon which is almost great in any situation.
Utility slot 1: Elixir S, Usually this skill isnt used that much but is always nice to have since its a stunbreaker and makes you invulnerable.
Utility slot 2: Elixir B or Elixir gun. Elixir B is just all around good and can be used in any situation for more dmg etc, Elixir gun is really good in team fights, the autoattack weakens the foe and the toolbelt skill gives regeneration and skill 5 aoe heals.
Utility slot 3: Grenade kit, what can i say, dps.
Elite slot: Supple crate since dont have anything better, well actually its pretty good.
Traits:
30 points in Explosives:
Major adept trait: Incendiary Powder for that extra burn condition.
Major master trait is short fuse for more bleeding and poison from grenade kit
Grandmaster trait is grenadier, I guess that explains itself.
Note the 25point minor trait that gives vulnerability from explosions. Since you have 3 explosions per attack when in the grenade kit you will stack lots of vulnerability.
30 points in alchemy:
Adept trait is fast acting elixirs since you have many elixirs this trait fits well
Master trait is cleaning formula 409 No more conditions !!! Yay
Grandmaster trait is HGH this fits well with the elixirs.
Note that the master trait can be changed depending on siituation since not all mobs have lots of condition.
The last 10 points are in Firearms for 100 extra condition dmg, the trait i use is precise sights, even more vulnerability! This is far from mandatory you csn tske whatever you think fits.
Armor it full Condition dmg, precision and toughness with 6 superior runes of the undead.
Weapons should have the same specs as the armor, the sigils should be superior sigil of earth and strength for even more might.
Ok my final notes are that this build is dependent of a relatively high crit chance (my crit chance is about 63% if i remember correctly) for procs since procs gives vulnerability, bleeding and burning and might and maybe something more thati forgot.

This bug still exists and it might have to do with engineer kits, instead of what I said earlier with dropping the rock at 80-100% you equip a kit. I asked some friends (non engineers) to do it and no one was able to do it but me.

First of all I tried to find this on the forums but I couldnt, might be me that sucks at searching…
Something that has been bothering me lately is the fact that I have two completely different builds I want to use in WvW and PvE and that I have to switch between these builds by paying some silver at a time and running to the profession master (or whakittens called). I know it’s not much but it really adds up if you jump between PvE and WvW quite often. So my suggestion is this:
Add a secondary trait tree that cost X amount of gold (whatever seems fitting). Would be nice to be able to change your build with just a click when out of combat.
What’s your thoughts?
Actually I’d rather they replace the look of the backpiece the Engineers are using when using kits.
I would prefer that they remove the backpiece at all when we are using a kit. For one, because I use my guild armor backpack and rarely see anythin of it when using a kit and then because it looks just plain stupid.
Yes, please. Or at least make it toggable. I didn’t buy a pretty armor + dies so I can watch an ugly bagpack that clips with my char’s hair to boot.
I agree, that it should be toggable so we can choose if we want to show it or not, though I still think that a couple of cool skins for each kit wouldnt hurt to show off with.
(sidenote: I dont think it should be toggable in PvP though, I’d like to see if a enemy engineer uses a kit or not so I know what to expect.)
Ok, so first I just wanna say I did search the forums but didn’t find any topics about just Kit skins.
So basically this is a suggestion about adding skins to equip for all the different kits the engineer has. For example: I personally think its a bit boring, not beeing able to get another “cooler” or “funnier” flamethrower skin that i can use. I want to be able to look a bit different when I use my kits aswell.
What’s your thoughts? Any suggestions?
I tried to find this in the forums but I didnt…
However, when you throw one of the rocks/crystals mentioned in the title there is a bar appearing “loading up” to max and if you drop the rock when the bar is about 80-100% filled up, the rock will be dropped and thrown away at the same time dealing damage and you can repeat the process.
I guess it’s just a minor bug but i wanted to let you know so you can fix it.
Edit: This is inside the Fractals of the Mists dungeon, Fire fractals and boss fractal.
