I’ve been playing guild wars 2 for quite some time now and the thing that has struck me the most since the release is the lack of competitive aspects to the game. Sure there are some for example sPvP and WvW. For example, World of Warcraft in my opinion is successful because of 1 of many aspects, the competitive side of it! Not only is there tournaments that are hosted with game teams playing in it for a large sum of money, but in game there is also tournaments for example the 2v2 arena and 5v5 that reward you with gear that can be used everywhere. Another thing i am very surprised about in GW2 is that there is no trading, Dueling, Or inspecting other players to see what gear they are wearing. These functions in my opinion would be brilliant in guild wars 2 as me and my guildies are always arguing over who’s better. Lastly, the rewards side of things, I really dislike the fact that the rewards you get from sPvP and tournaments are only usable in sPvP. I’d love to be able to have this gear accessible at any times no matter whether pvp or pve. Anyway, I’m not writing this post to name all the faults in guild wars 2, i’m writing it so they may get fixed. Guild wars 2 is my favorite game by far, and this is just my suggestion.
