Yeah, I agree with that. You could have the option to save it to start out as minimized and have a green check mark for ready or the red circle for not ready (similar to the ones for join or don’t join party) and have a number like 1/5 or 2/5 for however many people have said they’re ready. Then, if you need to know who is taking so long, you can maximize it if you want.

Hello friends! So after playing a decent amount of Fractals of the Mists, I’ve began to become somewhat annoyed by both the default location and the size of the UI element that pops up when it’s time to go to a new fractal (Fractal Transit Query). Although it’s not a major issue, it’s a matter of personal preference that I don’t like to have gigantic things popping up in the middle of my screen when I’m trying to do stuff, even if it’s just to run to loot a chest, or to talk to a vendor in the lab.
My suggestions:
1) To make it to where when a player moves that UI element, it memorizes the position where the player moved it and shows up there the next time.
2a) To allow players to resize the window similarly to how we can resize the inventory window, by dragging a corner, which would resize all the contents within the window, and to make this resize also be saved so that it remains this way when it pops up in the future.
2b) The other way you could handle resizing is to just make a minimalistic version of the layout of the window and add it as an option in the game to toggle between the two.
Almost all of the UI is really slick for a default UI, but this one element I just find pretty annoyingly large and intrusive. I hope my suggestions are helpful, and appreciate all the work you do.

I have this exact same problem, and it started happening at the same time it started happening to you. When I play GW2, it doesn’t take long until one side of my headset’s audio cuts out and is replaced by an single-note pulsating tone. The only way to get rid of it is to completely close the client. It’s very annoying and I’ve ended up just taking my headphones off most days and listening to music or TV instead. Googled the issue and found this thread. Glad to know it’s not just my hardware.
Side note – I’m using Razer Megalodon headset, and it’s always the left side’s audio that goes out. I’ve also adjusted quality settings in game to no avail.
