Guild Wars 2

I have an excellent internet connection, never get lag or fps drop, I am the only one USING the internet connection… and I get kicked to character select near the end of EVERY HoT story mission. The only way I finished the last one was by playing with someone else and not moving until they completed it when we got to the end. This is driving me crazy, since I really really want to finish the HoT story missions before I start LS3!
I have no idea what could be causing it. If anyone can help me with this, I would love you forever.

No codes, it’s a straight up Crash-to-Desktop, Bethesda game style. Hence the mystery!

Ever since the last update, I’ve been incapable of getting into the game. I can log in, but when I press play, my screen goes black as normal but crashes almost immediately. My computer itself is fine, I can play other games, only GW2 is having a problem.

Do I need to uninstall and reinstall entirely? If I don’t get a reply before work I’ll go ahead and start the process, of course. Running as admin doesn’t affect anything, I’ve tried shutting down for a few minutes and restarting.

For the first time ever I used Windowed mode, and exited out of the game while using it. Now, when I try to get back in, the window for GW2 pulls up, whited out, and goes unresponsive. Is there a way to force the game to open up fullscreen? Like, what’s up with it?

I’ve been playing this game for a few months and though I love it, all my friends have left it for WoW (ugh) and I find myself… Lost… Alone… And unable to do any dungeons.

I’m over 20, usually very active but still “casual”, and I focus on PvE and dungeons. I wouldn’t mind trying out WvW, but currently just stick to the plain stuff. I’m on Henge of Denravi, not too interested in hopping servers, and am hoping to find a fun guild that’ll make playing a little more rewarding. As a weird request, i’m also hoping that i can get a spot for my older sister, who’ll start playing as soon as we get her laptop fixed, hahaha…
I’m reticent to join one too quickly, mostly because i am both very indecisive and lazy, so I’m kinda shopping around I guess? I’ve never joined a guild before, so i’m not sure if this is bothersome or not.
