Guild Wars 2

Hey there.

So I have a pretty high end PC. It easily holds 60 fps in intensive areas like The Black Citadel and Maguuma. I have very few issues with the game, or at least I didn’t until recently.

Sometimes, when I boot the game up, it seems to automatically cap the fps to 20 fps… which is a very odd number to cap fps at. No matter what I do, or what settings I tamper with, I can’t get it to budge from 20 fps unless I restart the game. If I restart, it fixes it, but I’d rather I didn’t have to occasionally restart the game, if it can be helped.

I have 16 gigs of RAM, a GTX 970 Strix, an i5-6600 and I’m running on Windows 7. It has nothing to do with vertical sync and I tampered with all the settings in the Nvidia control panel too to try and fix it, but nothing seems to uncap the fps from 20 once it throws this fit.

Can anyone help?

I’ve been playing the game for about a month now, and I recently discovered the existance of this quaggan tonic online. I’ve never once seen it in game, and sadly I now know why.

This champion requires a pretty big team to defeat, and since the reward is a silly vanity item (be it one that I want, regardless) there’s simply no motivation to group up and defeat it anymore. I’d have to agree with the others and state that putting it up to champion rank (as it was apparently a veteran before) was a bad move and should be fixed. This is a fun item and I shouldn’t have been playing for this many weeks and seen literally no sign of it.

I know this is an old topic but it’s one that’s only recently affected me.
