Took a lot of tries to get consistency down to beat it
Increasing the caps is not the answer. Adding more challenging content and new items with adjusted skills or new stats is the answer. I don’t need my character to get to a higher level to feel stronger and I don’t need to add new skills to feel “elite” I just need to be challenged.
I do believe they already stated this is a permanent event that they plan to add to later on.
Wow! I thought I was over doing it a bit, but I’m only at 210 hours lol. Looking around I need to pick up the pace ha ha!
28 and loving it! I am able to find a little bit of everything to keep me content and I look forward to future updates.
I think enough people will still want the skins to keep it going, maybe not spike again, but at least keep it selling afterward until the supply drops.
I’m not hanging out in LA all day, so I’ve only heard it maybe a handful of times. Still makes me laugh regardless.
Right before GW2 I was juggling between GW1 and SWTOR.
past history has included: UO, EQ, EQ2, AC, AC2, AO, Shadowbane, DAoC, SWG, WoW, Aion, CoH/CoV, LOTRO, Warhammer, Rift, Champions Online, PotBS, and maybe a few more.
The traditional mmo has become stale for me. UO hooked me on this genre back in ‘98 and I spent 5 years there until I couldn’t take the trammel changes. Ive played the line up through the years, but nothing got me to stick as long(other than WoW’ but even there I would get bored and take long breaks). the genre has really been in a lull for years now with everyone trying to mimic WoW and ride blizzards coat tails instead of take a risk to move things forward..
Gw2 has been the first mmo To really spark my interest again because it Does not feel like the same old game in a new location and different Pixels. The last time I enjoyed PvP/WvWvW this much was when I played DAoC on a PvP server.
I hope that what anet has done will encourage others to take more risks and not play it so safe. I’ve already done the traditional road and I’m ready to see something else.
Did you get the one inside the Chantry of Secrets?
For future reference, where is this?
I would imagine if they did it would be for too many false reports, however, I agree it’s more likely they just ignore that players future reports.
I enjoyed the holiday events in gw1 and I agree that having them mix in with their own DE would be fun. Start the event with an NPC that kicks off a chain of DE’s would be fun. Maybe make it so you have to follow the chain to prevent people from jumping to the end for an easy finish
In the beginning it seemed like all I saw were warriors, thieves, and rangers. At lvl 53 I have started seeing more mesmers than thieves.
