This build is good, and works for PVE, dungeon, fractals.

There are a couple of modified versions online. As all builds go, this is a starting point, you get your footing and you can build on it. I used to run condi before as well, but power reaper is tons of fun in HoT.
All your gear comes in handy for different situations, so hold onto condi and other stuff as well, such as raid.
Zerker gear, scholar or strength runes. Might be able to find a more economical option on those runes, but I’m not sure what. I use soul reaping trait line for solo/duo instead of spite and use Death Perception over Dhuumfire. I prefer axe over dagger for running random HoT stuff. It’s range is good, then I swap to GS or Reaper mode for the rest. The damage is not great compared to dagger. So, it depends on playstyle and what exactly you are doing.
I keep all my high Power/Ferocity foods as needed. A lot of time running through HoT, I use Tropical Peppermint cake or pies. You get health regen and vitality, and they are cheap. Good trash food, and I save the expensive stuff for special occasions. Also, scale venom is good, 16 copper. You have to do a quest to get the vendor to pop up.
This was posted some time ago. This would be excellent gear for the scholar class female. I’ve not found any gear sets that I’m 100% happy with visually for my human classes, just thought I’d bring this out since I’ve heard others mention they’d like to see it as well.
Hopefully next time they are adding some female light gear, it’ll be considered.

Comparing an MMO to entitlement or real world problems is a bit far-fetched.
If a casual player is making 5-10 gold a day, which isn’t unrealistic for people who are busy, it takes a minimum of 125 days for a precursor (if you can even get Legend at 1250 gold now). It’s about 4 months or so. Considering that’s only the precursor, not the mats and other items.
Now considering you can make much more money flipping or running dungeons, it doesn’t seem to compare for the same time issues. The problem is a lack of equilibrium, especially for those logging on doing dailies or world bosses. Or what about people who just want to log on and do some PVP or WVW?
It makes the game much more about grind and much less about cooperation or personal goals, part of the spirit of the original Guild Wars.
So, I’m sitting with all my stuff for Bifrost, except I’m 1/2 the way on the current price of the precursor. When I get the 1250 gold it takes, I’m not sure I’m going to spend it on a precursor.
It’s likely I’ll get the amount, if I have to buy it I will. Then I’ll be so frustrated with the game, I’ll probably only login to do dailies, if that and go play something else. I’m not saying that’s what everyone would do, but it is a source of frustration for a significant amount of people and needs addressing.

I would love to see the rose skin (backpiece) in blue. Just a thought.
Or they could just make it so that players have a guaranteed way of getting a precursor though precursor crafting. They are working on that. They wanted it released for this last feature patch but they changed so many other things in regards to progression that they have to re-work it some more.
I’m waiting on this as well. Do you have a link any quotes that regards this issue? I’d like to read over it myself.
Adding my notes to the lot. Been playing GW2 since beta, played GW1 as well. This would be my first and probably only compaint about the game. ANET please work on the precusor issue.
Not everyone wants to grind dungeons, it’s obvious and been said again and again. I’ve made a variety of weapons, the mists weapons, ascended armors (full), a couple of sets of ascended trinkets (at least three), tormented skins, etc. Grinding for the Legendary items a bit tedious but not over the top, but the precursor is a pain.
It’s not a fun thing to do, which is unfortunate since playing a lot of other aspects of the game are.
The precursor questing option looked like a good solid option. Especially for those of us who play the game consistently but don’t have hours and hours to log each day. I’m hoping I see this soon.
Otherwise it might be time to log off for a couple months + and catch up on some console games.
