I am still waiting for someone to say, oh! my guild/myfriends just did path2 cof without using any form of corpse run. We use this strat, now try it… thats all i need right now then i’ll go and try it and make it a “challenge”

well, if you couple the universal currency with the time limit then it may work. it basically eliminates the farming of a single one non stop and forces them to try other dungeons for tokens.

one of the biggest problems now is the insane difficulty of it. common, how is corpse zerg the only viable strategy. seriously who has done the bomb room without using some form of corpse zerging.. i need at least a few sample sizes of players….

Here is the thing, certain dungeons have certain armor sets that with the looks people want. Someone did suggest a universal token rather than specific dungeon token along with some timer. That will make people run different dungeons and cycle through a big variety and yet get tokens to purchase what they want.
The other issue we have faced is the difficulty of some of them after patch is ludicrous.

I have 1 question for this lovely morning. How many groups, after patch, have done the bomb protect without using some sort of corpse train?

That’s my question for today.

on a side note: i was not doing any speed runs really. doing the normal 25-30min runs with guildies and what not. Now, yaaaaa

I agree that Gaheron needed to be buffed. As in he needs to do damage during the fight because that was broken. that i understand. Unless they made him 1shotting the “tank” agroer. but that is IF you can get to him.. ya that kaboomium is not for the rock. its a phrase for you repair bill and armor.

lol man, cof.. i was talking to my party. yes it can be done. maybe 10% of even less of the population. well balanced party and good gear then yes. but for the rest of the population… nope, doubt it. making dungeons fun and challenging.. they got the challenging right.. its nearly almost impossible… i dont see any fun in corpse rezing trying to win. i really dont see how a pickup party do this.. let me correct myself, a typical pickup party. Maybe they made the other options easier??

Update: day 3 since my incident. my motivation to log back to play has not come back. Friends asking me to do this and that or run some dungeons with them. Last week, i would give them a hell ya! cant wait til i get home from work so we can do events, dungeons etc etc. Now i just tell them a “maybe” and thats a big “maybe”…
as i have mentioned before, loosing the gold and not getting what i want isnt that of an issue. It’s the lack of response and the lack of action from them that has baffled me.
my trust, my respect, and my hope meter for them is going down by the day and its is going down exponentially.

yep, happened to me the night before. I was so bummed about it I havent logged in since.
I got a reply from ANet about it as well. Same as everyone else.
Unfortunitely that is unexceptable, not only was my time wasted. I feel totally cheated by the system.
With their answer about not able to refund anything (ya.. at this time…)
basically put me into a state of distrust for the game and the TC.

Let me just say this, playing a game where I am constantly worried that this or that might also be bugged or another issue might come up and waste my time and money again, sucks big time.

Well, looks like my frequency of playing this game has dropped big time.

I have more to say, a lot more. But I think everyone here understands the situation and really are just waiting and I would say boldly demanding some solid solutions….
