steps I have taken to fix this :

disable windows firewall
uninstalled my antivirus
updated direct X
updated my video drivers
updated windows
ran in compatibility mode
ran as administrator
uninstalled my drivers / reinstalled them
deleted the install package and downloaded
plugged into WiFi and hardline
opened ports 80,443,6112, and 6600 and checked to make sure they were open
restarted my pc and router a million times, and rechecked all the port forward info each time
tried launching with a special command line “-somecrap”
threw a tempertantrum and gave up..

ive connected to the router without WiFi and opened the ports on the router.. nothing is working.. im done

hey ramm, thanks for the tip, i was actually just about to try that, only thing i havent tried, another thing is the port forwarding.. i had some issues with this. I was able to forward the 4 ports needed for gameplay, however when checking to see if the ports were open 2/4 reported still being closed.. after I connect to the hard line ethernet cord I will update if it worked.. if not im calling the ISP to ask why the ports are staying closed after being forwarded…. wish me luck!!

still not working, just doing the same thing, spent 4 hours last night updating windows..

so u guys are going thru the trouble to do the VPN for what exactly? if you still cant play wtf is the point?

I have tried double clicking the exe, also tried running as administrator, tried running in compatibility mode.. its not a internet issue cuz I get up to 650k and it stops at the same spot everytime.. right around 10g.. I just bought the most amazing game ever that I have been reading about for 3 years, and now im stuck watching a forum and waiting for a support ticket update for about 4-5 hours now… WHEEE? lol
