also to your point there is not requirement for this guild, we have a rp guild and a bank guild then heres valors edge, we have ts website forums the workx we were in gw1 for a loooooong time as well, and have been on ehmry bay since beta weekend 1. our main goal at valors edge is to have fun its our hideout from real life lol our escape to sometype of freedom

A little background on your potential guild leader.
My real name is Chase, my in game name is Sir Chase OHara. Ive been a commander since about 3 weeks from launch and have been active as i can be in WvW since the BWE’s (beta weekends). Alot of you know me or seen me at least in game, I am the leader of VE: Valors Edge.
As far as my commanding style, id say im more defensive strategic minded moreso than offensive minded. I like to keep what we take and focus on supply camps to get stuff upgraded so its easier to defend. I also like to joke around.
I have 2 mottos. One is “if its red make it dead, if its not red make it red then dead” , second is the most important one “have fun playin the game”. Those that have seen me in WvW know i generally like to livin the mood and joke around while moving people around letting them know what and where im going with VE etc.
I havent had the ingame time i would prefer but real life comes first, i still usually get a couple hrs monday through friday to play but there not always same time everybody, the usual time is something around 8 / 10 pm mountain to like 10 / 12 pm mountain somedays i get time in the morning or afternoon and not on at night due to my 2yo son naps as well as other stuff going on. When I am in game I give all that i can to task at hand and do what i and VE can as fast and efficient as we can. Figured id mention the previous since ive been inquired about where ive been, the answer family vacation and disneyland should be back to more effcient schedule soon.
We have been around since the beginning just a little less known due to the fact we are a smaller family ran guild. What I mean by that is our leadership core goes as follows: Kechara (my fiance), WIKDshadow (fiances son), Jovian (best friend since 2nd grade), Dmetor (one of my first recruits from overflow ), and Riodani Loreseeker (spewed Monty Python jokes in WvW at me) . With that being said we do not exclude people from our group we welcome friendly fun loving players that have a real life as well as a game life. The reason i mention real life compared to game life is because theres alot of responsibilities me and kechara have to attend to that limit our game time so alot of the guild duties fall on other members of the leadership core, we make guild decisions based on guild feedback not just the leaderships point of view.
As for myself, ran a guild in Guild Wars 1 (Wicked Outlawz) that was founded on day1 of launch still exists today, except the height was about 6month after launch till most of my top guys wanted to start there own and well i didnt bother rebuilding because we moved to World of Warcraft for like 6 yrs or so. I also have experience leading many a raid and dungeons in world of warcraft (the 40man stuff as well as the 20s) as well as teambased first person shooter / strategy team-based modes some of us play COD:BO2 for xbox360 for example. Other games would be Tribes franchise, Homeworld franchise, Unreal Tournament franchise, Age of Empire franchise (minus the online version), Evony age 1 and age 2 just to give examples of games i have played and have either lead or been apart of the leadership.

VE: Valors Edge was made first night of prelaunch by a group made up of Guild Wars 1 and World of Warcraft vets among other games, that just so happens to be family (literally) and very close friends. My fiancee(Kechara) her son(Wikds Shadow) my best friend since 2nd grade(Jovian) make up the leadership group. We have been in GW2 since the first Beta Weekend.
With that being said, we are not one of the guilds that focus on our friends and not the guild and ignore you because you are not in our core. We include everybody that is willing and returns the favor meaning we help you if you help us. A guild is a family should act like a family the old All for One (the guild), and One (the guild) for All.
We make decisions for guild mostly by Guild feedback, not just by the leadership POV and always appreciate feedback and suggestions.
We are recruiting for PVE WvW Guild Missions and all around gaming fun. We currently only have one commander me. We usualy run 6-10 strong when we got members online for WvW some nights its just me , some me + 3 etc. We mainly participate in WvW but we do alot of PvE as well. Guild dungeon runs, farming sessions, dynamic world events( for example the Karma vendors in Orr “namely Balthazar” but all), dragon events etc.

We also are forming on Xbox360 Live for games like call of duty black ops 2.
