Request: Remove turrets from game

I’d really love to be able to use the turrets in dungeons, but everytime I place them they won’t even last 5 secs in a fight. In boss fights they will only last for the next aoe spell and then thats it. :/

I suggest that turrets should only take 10% or something of pve aoe damage or perhaps make them completely immune to aoe damage. Don’t know about pvp and spvp as that would probably be a little OP, but in dungeons I don’t see that would be a problem other than if that were to be implemented turrets might actually be able to last a fight. I know this has been suggested before.

Right thanks a bunch! I was also favouring the Krytan more, but as it came to my attention that some of the ghosts in Ascalon was named Ascalonian Elementalist I suddenly found myself a bit torn between the two.

Hi fellow guild wars players!

I have created a human elementalist and am about to do the fall of falcon company quest in which I am to choose the origin of my character’s background. Now I know this has really no impact on the game what so ever or well except for the appearance of the dead sister, but none the less I like to have some sort of history to my character which I can relate to.

I have nailed it down to either Ascalon or Kryta, but as I am not too familiar with the lore regarding these places I would love to hear your opinions as of which place would be the best suited, well, lorewise for an elementalist?

That of course would be a problem, but then again that could also be countered by not having this in combat cooldown. Anyway after sleeping on the topic I realized you can just put the shortcut key for your normal swapping weapons to the specific utility slot. I don’t know why I never thought of that xD

Engineer Switching Weapons

Hey everyone

I have been playing the engineer for a while and thought it would be more convenient if the engineer would be able to switch between the different weapons in the skill point system something similar to how the other classes switch their weapons.

So lets say you got the flamethrower on the 7th slot in your skillbar then a small button, just like the other classes, would allow you to switch to the flamethrower and reverse by the use of the normal change weapon key on your keyboard. In case you got two skill point weapons in your skillbar then a small menu would allow you to choose which weapon should be associated with the hotkey.

Do you think it would be a bad or a good idea to implement something like this?
