Guild Wars 2

One of Darkhaven’s newest guilds, Virtues of the Courageous [VoC] is looking to add people to their roster. While we already get between 15 and 25 people into WvW together nightly, we are looking to expand a little bit more. While normal PvE happens during the day, our “Guild Ops” happening by night ensure that we have a strong presence. We offer a home for Darkhaven’s members to either become a part of the zerg, or push themselves to become a commander to be reckoned with.

Our guild has a lot of very nice perks, and a few very reasonable requirements:

-All of the members in our nightly WvW group are on TS. All of them.
-We have practices every week to teach any newer WvW’ers what we can do.
-We are an incredibly friendly group to be around.
-We keep in contact with all the other big WvW guilds and players in our server, and are on great terms with them.
-We have a guild website (www.gw2voc.enjin.com) that includes forums, guild builds, a calender, and much more.

Our only requirements are:

-You must Apply to our website. (this is to ensure you care enough to even click a link and answer some questions).
-You must have at least one level 80. (This is mainly because we are trying to maximize our efficiency, and rallying people can really hurt that).
-You must join at least 3 Guild Ops weekly. We have 7 a week, and they last for between 2 to 3 hours. These typically start at 6:45PM server time, but it sometimes varies by 15 minutes max.
-You must join the TS when you are doing guild ops with us.

WOW. [VoC] is having some great fights so far in DHBL, especially against [Mend]! you guys have some good tactics, and we’re definitely learning a thing or two.

Original gw1 gvg is 8v8. Why does everyone think its 15s and 20s?

Why would we need to try and follow the “GW1” way of GvG’ing?… This is GW2, with different combat mechanics. It would be cool to have a game mode for GW1 style GvG’s, but i personally like the 15v15 or 20v20 deathmatch.

We are only considering to leave because we are getting hate from our very own server. Yeah, we make jokes and kitten in the server, but being insulted by people in both the facebook group and the forums by our own server, it makes us feel unwelcome here.

Look, you may be hearing rumors that we are transferring but we have NOT said anything officially. We literally started wvwing as a guild the last day of the FC week 2 matchup. Since then, we have been trying to recruit people and gain a reputation.. Also Assassain X, [Fun] runs a guild group and tries to keep it exclusively guild members because ALL OF THE ZERG is in TS. when we allow pugs into the group, we stack for static, and someone inevitably throws down a symbol of swiftness. The same happens in our might stacking/water healing. It greatly reduces our effectiveness, and if someone told us they would join in TS with us, we’d let them join.

OK, i’m an admin from [Fun]. I’m really surprised at the sudden hate we got in this forum. Yes, we defended a tower… but i know for absolute certain we did not have more numbers than FC defending the tower. Not to mention, we fought FC AND Kaineng one after another. If you think you guys had inferior numbers, good for you, but i also know that we told all the newer members and dishonorable members to not spam emotes. Assassain X i could honestly care less about what you think of our guild, as i find your commanding to be mediocre at best, but that’s also my opinion..

[Fun] had a great time defending the two south towers in Kaineng Bl…. our mesmer decided to pull half the zerg off of the ruins cliff xD

We laughed our kitten off tonight watching AR zerg the centaurs and skritt on DHBL. I tried to get screenshots, but the only thing I was able to grab was a giant group standing in the skritt caves. =/ Thanks for keeping things fresh and funny, boys. No sarcasm or offense intended.
HoD, you guys have a lot of hammer guards and warriors. Like, a lot. We’re one day in and I’m already nearing my limit.
Shoutouts to: The [TFH] small-man group we fought at some camps. You guys were pretty tough! And the [vT] mesmer that dueled me and some friends at the end of the night. Good fights, sir!

I know what you mean! Used to just vanilla fighting from last week, then reset day comes and BAM! stun-locked. Lesson learned for me i suppose.

To be more specific, this happens when somebody is moving in a direction, and uses the dedicated (default ‘v’) key to dodge. When you dodge while moving, (sideways for example) your auto-attack does in fact stop for what seems to be about 2-3 auto-attack cast times, then it resumes. It bothers me, and seems to have been happening before the patch for me at least

[fun] is an up and coming guild in the Darkhaven server. We have the best qualities of a small guild (we are all quickly becoming good friends with each other, and everyone is looking for people to do things with them;) and are slowly gaining some of the best things about a large guild (we’re queuing guild bounties right now, and are soon to be getting better upgrades.) Some of the most popular things within the guild to do are: porting people through jumping puzzles, roaming in 5-15 man groups in Eternal Battlegrounds/Borderlands, running dungeons in guild groups (we have our own TeamSpeak server and we always use it to co-ordinate the runs,) and we have many people in the guild going for legendary weapons, so world completion is a very common thing to group up and do with us right now. We are very kind to new guildmates and would love for some new people to have [fun] with! We accept people from different servers as well!

Also, there seems to be very few DH in this forum o.o we could be so much more organized if we knew all this stuff.

You guys are really taking a toll on us DH though.. We need to learn how to defend our towers instead of trying to protect SM and going full offence x.x

Why is IoJ so kitten that NSP doesn’t want to team up? it goes three ways, you guys shouldn’t freak out cause they took the castle. its obviously not a big deal anyway (except to seemingly everyone on my server.)
