Tengu make the most sense cosmetically and in the Lore. They are bi-pedal and have the most potential in customization (e.g feather color and feather plumage). I agree with many other posts, we might see them with the Primordus. Also, it might need to be a standalone campaign to have a new personal story written. Who knows though, they may be already working on it. Just like this expansion pack, they may have some ground work done for another. This thread as developed into a speculation thread and less of an upset rant. Questions and theories are being shared, not hurtful words and game thrashing. No need for hostility, people!

I think the Koran would not be the new race, as they are very limited on appearance. Tengu have much more potential. Color of the feathers and feathery hairstyles for example. Lore-wise they would also work as they are not a race we take pity on and help out in the stories. I wish we could play them in the expansion pack but as many pointed out, they don’t fight into the first campaign as well. It would take a total rewrite. I think a new campaign expansion would be when we get it. Unfortunately that may take years. However, I still stand with Tengu as the next playable race, if we get one. It makes the most sense cosmetically to a very cosmetic game.

I know, but if not a sneaky put in in this expansion, when will we see that new race?

Did you hurt yourself in this stretch? Artists use inspiration from everything. Even the artists behind other games. Why not have classic inspiration from the same source? Ever think of that? It’s hard to produce something 100% original anymore. Styles exist for that reason. You don’t like it, then you can pack up and leave. You have a big enough problem, bring it to the other game developers’ attention. Truthfully though, nothing will happen. So just scratch your irrational mad spot and move along.

When can we expect a new race? In a standalone expansion, or are you being sneaksies? I hope you are being sneaksies and plan on a new race! cough Tengu.

I believe jealousy, laziness, and utter disrespect of a valid, non-rule-breaking play style are the real issues here. Why punish those in this game who enjoy playing it economically? It is like saying, " that person has nicer clothes than me, they should make them pay for having nicer clothes than me." There is nothing unfair about those who have the ingenuity to use a market system for entertainment. The only thing that is unfair is the demand of those who wish to stifle such legitimate play style because they are unwilling to reach for what they can achieve. Before it is said, I do not " play the tp." I never have, and I don’t care that there are those that do. It doesn’t affect me. I can get all of the resources just as they did. I feel bad for John Smith, who has to deal with this loud and foolish noise. It’s a selfish and self-centered demand that is unfair. Yes this is abrasive, but that is typically the only way to get through tough and stiff ideas and selfishness.

I just want to say, for a company that only makes you pay for the box and only that to play the game, they are generous. Now, considering this, how will they bring food to their families? Huh? By this type of stuff. Quit whining. Don’t let your silly pride come out of your mouth. It’s a game! No need for foolish “kitten” comments, bad grammar and degrading artists and computer engineers who work hard to give you something good so that you can have some fun. For nostalgics, get over it! GW1 is also a game! It’s not that big of a deal to cause name calling and nay-saying someone else’s effort and time. You don’t like it? Fine, ignore it. You are entitled to your opinion, but filter it so you don’t sound like a brat. I don’t care how hard it WAS or how LONG it took in Gw1. It’s not that game, and it’s not your game. It’s theirs. Grow up and stop crying about everything! I’m tired of hearing all your childish whininess! And yeah this is a bit harsh, but you whiners need to hear it!
