ah I missed that, thanks
what about for PVP?
I’m a bit confused about how often I should be using my weapon as an engineer given how many kits we have
In PVE I use this build: https://metabattle.com/wiki/Build:Scrapper_-_Power_Grenadier
My most powerful abilities are on kits and tool belt, so clearly I should be using those as often as I can. But how often am I switching to hammer and actually hitting people with it vs using kit abilities?
In PVP I use: https://metabattle.com/wiki/Build:Scrapper_-_Power_Hammer
Same question as above, although its much less clear how often I should be using elixir gun vs swinging my hammer
Which GW2 profession is most similar to the discipline priest from WoW? I know theres no traditional trinity, and that all classes can heal/dps etc, but I’m looking for the closest match
Back when I used to play WoW, I played disc priest every arena season and love the playstyle. I’m there to support my team mates with shields to mitigate damage, to heal them, to control enemy healers, to dispel debuffs. Disc priests were mostly there for utility, to get your team mates moving/dispelled/shielded so they can freely put out pressure. They were the true enabler class. But most importantly, back in the day they were the healer class that could very quickly turn around and pump out some damage to help get a kill.
Is there a GW2 equivalent in structured pvp that can play this shielding/support role the majority of the time, but flip a switch and pump out some burst? I’m asking this only from a pvp perspective
