Showing Posts For Winter.1475:
I’m fairly certain all of my games were also 5v5s, although in at least one match, a player deliberately disconnected and reconnected in order to avoid the time it would take to be bled out off point.
I’m not talking about leaderboard ranking, I’m talking about the win/loss ratio, which is bugged – I should be showing 9 games won, 1 game lost.

There appears to be a bug with leaderboards right now; both Arken & I have 9 games won and 1 game lost (as you can see on the left) but the leaderboards have us at 8 and 1. kitten and Ipno are also only showing 9 games played.
Spartacus, your inbox is full so I can’t respond to your PM. It’s only bugged with Permeating Wrath; you can trait into DH as long as you don’t trait into Permeating Wrath and still get the full duration.
Virtue of Justice’s passive works as intended for the duration increase. However, when traited with Permeating Wrath, the duration is back to 2 seconds instead of the intended 4.

…and why it’s annoying to fight but not competitive.
Arken asked me to post this here:
He also asked me to say that while he didn’t mention this in the video, Spear of Justice needs a slight nerf because the cast time is too short.
Just wanted to say thank you as well. Although I wish I could have participated more fully in the event, I really appreciate that Anet is making it up to those of us who got disconnected. Fingers crossed the next one goes better!
Yes, having the final event be 24 hours would be great — especially given this was the precedent set in Guild Wars 1, when events would run approximately every 2 hours.
Given the myriad of crash bugs, random freezes, lag spikes, etc. that occur during these large events, having only one shot at doing the event is really just an exercise in frustration & a monumental waste of time. Even more frustrating was the lack of communication from the Anet team — I understand that this was the weekend and what staff there was did their best, but there really needed to be better communication between the staff and player base about what was going on, or for these events to run during a time when all hands were on deck, so to speak.
Just adding my voice to the chorus here. Better planning, testing, and communication from staff members would have helped a LOT.
