Hello Everyone.

My girlfriend and I have been wondering why GW2 does not have a Free-For-All PvP mode. We believe that with this any player’s true strength can be mastered. One might argue that WvW may have the answer though it is simply not rewarding enough unless you go with your server to towers and camps etc – and it does not count to your PvP skill. Another possibility is to find some spot in Tyria and grab as many mobs as you can and AoE them, that might be rewarding, but they don’t possess intellect.

PvP does not feel like PvP because you rely on the abilities of the other 4 team mates to capture and gain 500 points first. Whether you win or loose a game is subject to a number of possibilities: We all know what they are and Glicko does a great job of figuring out your capabilities – but as a team member. What Glicko cannot do is match you up with a Druid that has tons of heal if you and the three other players have 0 sustain. Either that or you end up with a team that is all condition based builds. You cannot possibly know what the other team is rolling to counter it and sPvP is quite unforgiving in this regard. On rare occasions when someone has the confidence to suggest a strategy and often, someone will say they go close. Great but what then? 4 players rushes mid and that is pretty much the time you know if you are going to win this match or not. If its obvious that your team is getting destroyed persistently then you sit in agony for 8 minutes. No one truly communicates to each other unless its verbal abuse because everyone expects the other guy to “be doing what they are supposed to”.

We think a free-for-all with kill/death ratios is a better indicator of talent than how many games you got lucky with. Match-ups can be based on your character’s K/D ratio, how many games you have played with that character and how much condition damage, damage and healing you have applied to players. This can also apply to the current PvP game style as well which may improve the PvP experience when you are with a team of players you have probably never seen in your life.

I have the same problem. I thought that waiting for the timer to run out will help. It does not.

If you throw in 4 blades you will have a 0.01% chance of getting a precur.
If you throw in 400 blades, you still only have 0.01% chance.

Okay so here’s my question,

I have an ascended quiver, not infused (didn’t have the ecto’s at the time) skinned with Rox’s Quiver.

Now I have everything I need to infuse it in the Mystic Forge..
Will I loose my skin, will the recipe simply not work, or will my quiver be infused and still have the skin?

I have the same problem as Star Forge, took an alt to get the free candle but it did not fix my achievement. I too got the candle on my main in 1-3.

I honestly dont give a care what you do to the event or any of the like because I love this game, gets boring sometimes, but any MMO does. BUT. my big big but and this actually makes me angry. WHY remove the drops from the summoned elementals? Seriously!?!?!? I think its one of the only reason’s why i would bother going ALL the way down that far is for the claw drops and the occasional currupted lodestone. BRING BACK THE ELEMENTAL DROPS!!!

Hello! The Darkheart Bloodline is a new WvW, PvE, Dungeon guild that is looking to grow strong.

I have had experience with battles and wars in an MMORPG called Perfect World International. It has a Territory War system and I have vast experience with combat tactics. So I have started this guild because I believe I am a great leader and tactician and I want this guild to grow, its members to grow, So that when you become a General in [DH], you will be leading your own warband in the WvW system!

The guild’s main goal is to do WvW battles. Independent of other guilds, We will be teaming up the guild members with squad leaders in an organized war effort to simply, capture forts and have fun and gain WvW experience for us all. The WvW efforts are purely for fun. There will be rewards based on performance. This can occur once to three times a week, depending on guild activity.

PvE events and dungeons will be held nearly every day at a scheduled time. Prizes and awards will be given.

There will be guild hosted events for members that range from a number of event types that include time trials, measure of skill, etc.

Any and all are welcome, with or without experience. Grow with us. Be part of the bloodline.

There is an incentive – that, if you invite 10 players – and they are promoted to soldier (requirements for this promotion are detailed on the DH website) You will be promoted to Captain and receive a 5g award

The Guild Ranks are as follows:

Emperor – Thats me
Warlord – The Right hand of the Emperor
General – This is an officer. He makes sure everyone behaves
Captain – Captains play an important role in WvW.
Soldier – An official guild member
Recruit – New members go here
Prisoner – Dont follow the rules and end up here
