Hi,

I don’t write much on here, but i have come across some thing that needs to be brought to the attention of some one (possibly a dev).

So I started my journey on making H.O.P.E and I am now on tier 4, all’s well and good and having a great time finding all the bits for the collection’s.

Then i come across this item ‘Risen Crystalline Phial’ to get from Malchor’s Leap and killing a Champion Risen Wraith at the Cathedral of Eternal Radiance.

The problem is here, I need to kill this thing while Lyssa is running about and the main event is to kill her. So as I’m waiting for this risen to spawn (which only spawns during this event and I have to kill it before Lyssa gets killed) which so far cannot not be done, with the amount of players killing her every time, as I stand there waiting (while adding that it only spawn’s randomly between 5-10 min’s).

How on earth am I meant to do this, while asking about 25 people not to do an event.

Please, I ask you as a long time player from early beta, change this and make it so at least we kill Lyssa as well, not some random mob that spawn’s.

So is any one else coming across this problem?

Well i managed to fix my chug/freeze problem that happened every hour .. after spending a few days talking with dev’s after opening a ticket, and trying multiple things like, the repair tool for gw2, and deleting caches and stuff, which I am eternally thankful for, they really are the best at getting back and wanting to help.

The one thing that sorted it out, I moved back to windows 7. As I upgraded to 10 before hand (if you have as well, might work for you to downgrade, as win10 is still in it’s early form). gw2 and win10 don’t seem to like each other on my rig.

So I’m now happily running gw2 on win7 on the 64 bit client, no problems at all, no crashes or freezes and all running at 60 fps (35-45 fps in large groups).

I’m also getting this, the game will stutter and the sound will crackle a bit every hour or 2, but will return back to normal after about 2 to 4 seconds of this.

Iv done all checks, my pc is fine and plays things fine. Its just gw2. all this started when halloween finished and they patched.

Iv used both 32 and 64 bit clients, but no change.

Overall the 64bit client seems to be the best option for me, but there’s a catch.
Although its quite more stable (haven’t had a crash since i started using it, as opposed to 1-2 daily after HoT launch), at random times it will stutter heavily, like almost like its about to crash, but then it goes back ok. According to windows resource monitor, there’s a peak on memory errors at those times… I don’t think its my ram that’s going haywire (its 3 months old and never had any issues with other games), is there any way i can pinpoint the issue (should help with the feedback)?

How many physical RAM do you have and how high is your load ? I guess its just
swapping memory to disk (virtuell memory) when you use too much of your
real memory.
And yes .. this can happen now .. the same as it could happen years ago when er
had less than 2 GB memory on 32-bit systems.

16GB. load at 40% usually.

I am also having this problem.

The game will stutter really heavily every hour or 2 , for about 2 to 4 seconds then go straight back to normal at 60 fps . I have 16gb of ram as well so I don’t know what to do, beginning to get a little annoying when you fighting and having to dodge.

Happened both on 32 and 64 bit clients. All this started after Halloween finished update.

Tried uninstalling graphic drivers and updating and changing the settings to make sure the game was running on the graphics card better with the 64 bit – no change

My next option is to reinstall the game, but would rather avoid that.
