I’m going to bump because I hate solo queue and have the skills to play on higher levels.
When is your practice times typically?
IGN: Colten
Account name: Wolten.4390
Profession: Elementalist
- Practice Availability: Mon-Thurs 5:30PM-11:00PM EST * Not negotiable, unfortunately. Some Friday evenings and weekends are open as well.
Practice times need to be scheduled as I don’t have a ton of free time. Can be available certain weekends for big-name tournaments.
I have skype/ts3/mumble/vent, whatever and require the team be on voice communications and everyone with a mic (duh, but I guess it needs to be said…)
Goal: find a 5v5 team that plays for fun but has ambitions of entering major league tournaments and strives to win. Sportsmanship and teamwork are important.
I am frequently complimented on my skill on the elementalist. I know the class inside and out and have a build that I created, specifically tailored to the way I play. I don’t believe in cookie cutter builds; skill and familiarity will trump theorycrafting every time imo. I’d be happy to do try-outs with your team to prove myself!
Any questions, or if you would like to contact me, you can reply here, by PM or via ingame mail. Thank you if you took the time to read the entire thing!!

IGN: Colten
Main Profession: Elementalist (mainly only class I play because its perfect for my personality and play style.)
Alternate Professions: I have a little experience with necromancer but haven’t played it in a very long time.
Account name: Wolten.4390
Practice Availablity: Mon-Thurs between 6:30PM and 10:00 PM EST. Cant stay up later than that due to work in the early mornings.
Current PvP rank (Not Leaderboard): I believe I’m rank 17. I’ve been playing sPVP since betas, so the low rank is more of a time-constraint thing than actual inexperience.
Level of Desire: active tournament play including participating in the official tournaments, I’d also like to get up to top 1000 on team leaderboards eventually.

Motto: have fun and play to win, but don’t be a jerk about it.

I HATE it when I mistform right to an allies feet for them to rez me, only to have them run away and keep dpsing… So frustrating! I find the problem most commonly occurs with rangers who refuse to rez, but I’m sure other classes are just as bad at it.
I almost always queue as a duo or trio… and usually win probably 70% of the time. I wonder how how that will change now that I’ll be queued with more premades than groups of 5 pugs.
I agree with the OP and the many others. The who cares what the participants what, if they want to make it an e-sport, they need to do what pleases the viewers the most. Maybe just do it for the main “televised” tournaments or something?
