How about a pet stopping distance that is more near the Ranger than a mile up the road? Having to “stow” your pet every time you need to ease up to a gathering node or even to look around the corner is becoming a nuisance. The pet grabs a lot of aggressive mobs when the Ranger is trying to get into position for a fight or just out for a morning stroll. Having the pet stop so far from the Ranger makes the pet take longer to get into the fight when it begins. Even when on “passive” the pet takes front guard a little too much, so can we please get the coding changed to have our pets at our “side” instead of two blocks away? Then maybe we can talk about the “pathing” of the pets.

Frostgorge is pretty good with T5/6 mats.. killing the bears for Potent Blood is easier than the trolls I think. Silk scraps come from salvaging high level 70’s to 80 Light armor. The Grawls will drop totems.
Thank you Darkace for your suggestion on ways to spend my time, but as I posted before, I am not willing to pay those high prices for something I can farm for myself. Yes, it may take me a while but I’m not the type to take the easy way out and just buy what I need even if coin wasn’t so hard to come by in this game. If it’s farmable then I will do it, however I’m not into running dungeons as I had enough of that type of play in another MMO. What I was looking for and received was advice on the better area locations for finding what I need. Yes, I’m a bit unhappy that the random drops for Chocolate bars and oranges was cut back so severely as attested by the 111 loot bags I farmed in the Brisban Wildlands ( a spot suggested by Black Frog) today as I only received 8 chocolate bars out of all those bags. However, with the ratio of coin versus expenses I will continue to “gather” what I need. Thanks to all of you for your input on locations it was a great help and at least I did find some chocolate bars, it’s a beginning.
I thank all of you for your helpful responses. I should have posted the names and levels of the areas I have farmed but they would include everything north of Orr. I have been to all those areas with no luck. However, today I am going back to Lornar’s Pass and see if the mobs there have re-stocked their bags. I farmed another thirteen hours with two breaks away from keyboard and only gained thirty-one butters and three oranges but I did pick up a few exotics and rares which was a surprise, especially off the dredges. Thanks again for the tips and locations. I will definately give those another try today.
What has happened to the random dropping of these items? Taking a chance of not being reported for “botting” I farmed for 8 straight hours all the pirates, bandits, centaurs and dredges I could find and only came up with three oranges, five butters and zero chocolate bars but a lot of leather scraps, totems and various other items. Every since the Karma vendors were denied the profit of selling oranges and chocolate bars and since the developers “re-adjusted” the drop rate after the “whiner’s” complained to much butter and bars, the drop rate has “dried-up”. I have farmed with a high “magic find” and still the drop rate is mostly non-existent. I’m not willing to buy these items at 60 copper for oranges and over a silver coin for a chocolate bar and there are over 20 recipes that call for both, so since no one will ever admit a huge mistake was made in changing the availability of these items maybe someone could pass along their tips and locations of acquiring these materials. I would be forever grateful as my chef is still sitting at 232 skill points.
I use a secpter and torch for my illusion build, however the first change should be that the Ether Clone that is summoned off the first skill of the secpter be able to do damage. I have watched and tested this out and only “0” in damage appears for dps when the clone casts it’s Ether Bolt. I thought maybe the text was bugged so I summoned the clone again and then stopped myself from attacking and watched as the mob’s health never went down. So, the first change to the scepter should be have the clone do damage. I don’t need a clone to cast Ether Bolt for cosmetic effect, I need it for damage.
Is anyone else having trouble logging into their character in Iron Marches. I keep getting the log in screen and after waiting for many minutes I get kicked out of game for “lost connection”. One other guildie is having the same problem with Iron Marches. Are the devs aware that the area is corrupted or at least unable to be accessed? I need my level 80 to participate in the Mad King events, could we get a time frame as to when this area can be accessed or at least a reason for the loading screen not letting you “load in”?
