Guild Wars 2

Howdy. As the title says, I’m looking for a guild of about ~30+ that is active and taking new members. I played DAoC for 5+ years and WoW from release to a few months after AQ came out, so I’m familiar with mmos. I’m only level 30 at the moment, but I hope to be 80 and participating in WvW shortly, so a guild that is active in that regard would be great.

I’ve been invited to a few guilds, some with 80+ members, but I have yet to read a single word in any of their guild chat’s, so it’d be great to put a stop to that. Please message me in game, or in this post, if you are apart of a guild like this.

Is there some kind of consideration of doing like a season tournament or something in the like that would reward the largest contributing guild or what have you with unique skin/weapons/armor? I envision that wvw is fun right now but with no unique rewards the motivation to do wvw may fade. This is all hypothetical but based on my experiences it’s usually true unless there’s some kind of reward is attached to it…

Maybe I just have a completely different outlook on PvP than you do, but why do you need a shiny carrot on the end of a stick to motivate you to play WvW? WvW is the motivation to WvW.

You get to fight alongside the rest of your server, using siege warfare on a massive scale, against two different servers, each consisting of hundreds of players at a time, and all you care about is how shiny you look while you do it? I think the traditional MMO format has warped your outlook.
