Guild Wars 2

Slowpoke – Guild Wars 2 makes it possible for you to have your own playlists for different situations and places?!

Not that I don’t like Jeremy Soule – actually I enjoy his music ver much, but after playing for several months and then hearing about this feature, well, it makes me curious enough to try it. I’ve tried searching the web about it, but all the tutorials I’ve managed to find is either old or really confusing, and then I got lazy and I figured: why not just directly ask people?

I use Windows 8.1 and my primary tool for music is iTunes. I have VLC aswell, but don’t really know how to use it for playlists.

As I said, I just want to try changing some of the music for situations like: battle, in-water and in the main-menu. That’d be really cool.

I imagine music from “One Piece” in the battle situations, a song from “Donkey Kong” for when I’m in the water and “Fear Not This Night” in the main-menu, just so that I still get the “This is Guild Wars 2!!!”-feeling, and to honor the game and Soule.

Question: if I change my mind, and no longer want my own music, how will I then get the old music back?

I’m crazy about the sylvari-concept and their armor, I think it’s gorgeous. The title says most of it; I know that there’s cultural-armor and Twilight Arbor-armor (which I find very hard to achieve a whole set of), but are there more? My main-character is an Elementalist sylvari, so mainly I’m looking for light armor =-) Thanks

So I’m fairley new to the game and I like playing this class – the fighting and the weapons is awesome and I really enjoy dodging and running around making spells and consider myself being reasonable good… The gear is not that interesting but that’s a minor detail :p
I’ve found that whenever I’ve searched for builds and information about elementalists, I always seem to find players complaining about how weak they are and even read the phrase: “The weakest class there is right now”. How can this be? Whenever I fight a veteran or does a skillspoint, I’m alone and I survive just fine everytime. Often without losing more than a few health. I’ve tried all kinds of fighting styles for the class, and like the staff-skills best. I haven’t had the honor of trying out pvp so far. My elementalist is level 68, but I’m not so interested in the pvp-world just yet. I will get there though, and I’d like to be prepared for whatever I’ll meet. Also when I’m travelling around the world, doing dungeons and events I rarely see another elementalist, which makes me feel pretty special, and that’s cool, but it’s also kind of making me nervous… I’m sure there must be a reason for it.

So, I’m fairly new to the game and I like playing Elementalist. So far I got her to level 67 and I really like the way this class fights (I’ve tried all kinds of weapons, but like the staff-skills best). So far there’s only one thing that I’m unsure about and that’s water-fighting… What kind of slot skills is best to use? And what about the epic skillshot? So far I only have the turrets, the Sylvari hound and the flame-sword availeble and none of them works under water. Is there any one of the epic skills that can be used in the water? And which attunement is strongest?
