You must be new here, allow me to provide you a heads up, we have been in the bottom tier together long before you or HoD showed up.

We are more like siblings at this point, we have our petty spats, but in the end, we are stuck together.

Gives a whole new meaning to double teaming when guild [BS] from ET insist on not capping anything in our BL in order to solely defend FC camps and towers. ET, don’t you want to come in 2nd?

Lol. I like how people judge an entire server over a single experience they might have had. Anyway, I assure you we’re just in it to kill. We are in no way teaming up with any other world or do our actions alone represent all of ET. We could care less about defending a tower or even a camp. If we take anything its to draw attention and lure in some people to kill. Sometimes it is because there is nothing to kill and we are bored, ultimately leading to a zerg showing up and allowing us to have people to kill.

Thank you guys as well. You are definitely the toughest group we’ve ever been up against. I admire your group play you guys work very well as a team and that’s something Basic needs to improve upon. Hopefully we all have more time in this tier so that BS can improve and put up a tougher fight.

Of my three builds, this one is the only one that really took a noticeable hit from the patch. The retaliation change is inconsequential, I’ve noticed no difference. The confusion change hurts, as it removes a lot of the burst potential that this build had.

As of right now, I recommend no changes in the basic build. I will be experimenting with possible alternatives to mirror images now that its utility for bursting confusion is no longer as strong as it used to be, but again, that needs testing.

The lack of confusion damage will be noticed and missed, but ultimately this build remains just as viable as previously.

I’d like to thank you for this guide its truly an amazing build that fits my play style perfectly. I’ve almost perfected all this builds techniques that I’ve yet to lose at a 1 on 1. Perfect build that’s allowed me to roam WvW alone and win many battles I’m which I’ve been out numbered. Im in love with my Mesmer because if

I tried the same build in spvp due to the rumors of confusion and retaliation nerf an I’ve got to agree that it is still a viable build. Nerf wasn’t so bad just a bit less burst now but still able to kill nonetheless.

Was only so long until that 1v1 would get interrupted haha. Good fight none the less, looking forward to running into your small man group this week.

Also ran into a small BS(basic) group, it was good fun they had a Mes, Warrior, and Necro. Changed to a Thief, Warrior, Mes after we got them the first time.

I was the human necro with the char warrior, good fights Mes you are the first Mesmer I have seen worth anything in WvW ever. (but dont terrain exploit you’re better then that).

ET has some solid players, got my best 1 v 1s against ET people. FG people seem to just zerg and are really really really really bad in small scale actually won 1 v 2 and 1 v 3s against them multiple times with a poorly geared necro, makes me want to invest in gear and play WvW instead of just Tpvp, see if I can 1 v4 or 1 v 5 some FG folks.

Maybe you would have interest in trying out our guild, Basic (BS). Like you, we are a small group of close knit players who came here from other games. We do a lot of WvW and PvE and definitely like sPVP on occasions but WvW is where we spend most our time. We are not many, about 9 very active skilled players hoping to make our guild grow over time. We would definitely like more players like us to roam WvW. Shoot a mail in game maybe we can meet each other and see how we get along.
