Guild Wars 2

This has been happening for over a week now along with a ton of lag. I’ve been playing since release and have never had an issue while playing or any real lag to speak of. I can’t really pvp anymore due to the sudden and random stops in the game and I end up dead after it catches up. For a few days it would only seem to knock me out of the game during tourny matches and wouldn’t really do anything in regular pve. However the past few days have changed that and I can’t even look through the auction house without it dropping me.

I’ve already gone over my computer with a fine-toothed comb and have found nothing out of the ordinary. One person told me to delete my WTF file and I can’t seem to find that lol. My GW2 folder only has three items in it, all of which are locked and as far as I can tell have nothing to do with what I’m looking for (a tmp, dat and app file).

Reading through the forums I know I’m not the only one experiencing this (at leas the lag anyway), but so far haven’t heard anything that sounds like a fix. I did read there is a patch coming and maybe it could be that? Any help is, well, helpful.

Having the same issues over the past few days. Could be longer, but I was off in the mountains for five days…

For the most part the game plays fine, but then I would get a freeze frame moment and then be dead after hearing lots of slapping and screams all at once. Made me think of the days of D2 and those blasted Flayers in act3, would fight, freeze then hear lots of spitting(blowgun) and then lil laughing.

The other half of it is random loss of connection to server errors, mainly in anything pvp. Haven’t experienced it in pve yet. I’ve checked everything in the computer and all is green and the other games run fine. I’m sure this won’t last long, but it’s just annoying for now. How well this game runs with so few errors or downtime is the reason I play it so much.

Wasn’t sure where to put this, maybe bugs or something, to tired to really know heh. The past few days I have had trouble staying connected to the server as well as had a lot of lag in most of the pvp battles. Sometimes it would be fine for about 20 min others every 5 min before I get dropped from the game under the “Loss of connection to the server” error. I did check my computer to see if there was anything going on on my end, but haven’t found anything out of the ordinary and everything else game wise or other runs just fine.

I saw the front page about some maintenance and figured that might be it, but wanted to know if anyone else is having the same issues. I’m on the tarnished coast server.
