Well we should bother them with this topic then. Till they KITTEN say something already. I’m having a real good time but this is pathetic. Developers cant handle their own engine. GOOD JOB. I would gladly hear from them that the next patch is only about optimization THAT would make me more happy than any new content. I rather play the game smooth before the new content arrives. AND DELETE THIS UMBRA KITTEN. Its the worse thing I have ever seen or should I say the worst thing I will see in a couple of second before its finally loaded together with the sound and the npcs and all the other stuff…

Why has this thread dissapeared from the front pages ? I searched it even on the 2nd,3rd and 4th but the topic isnt there anymore yet the discussion is still inbound ! I hope this reply will bump it up again its really Important that the DEVs will see this ( Naive I know and they probably know about this ). I want a statement.

Btw can I overclock this CPU AMD Phenom™ 9650 Quad-Core Processor 2.30 GHz ? If u need any more information just tell me what do I need to write here and how to find out what I actually got in my pc. Thanks

If your pc can’t run the game with max settings, then don’t blame anet for that…
Just put the game in low and you would be fine and stop kittening about all this.
You are the ones who try to play the game higher than expected. They used the same engine as guild-wars… how do you expect all that to go well ?
It would be the same if WoW was made with the same engine as the first world of warcaft ever made.
Yes it sucks for all of us, but for now nobody can do anything to fix the problem. I guess the developers also know that now. It’s just pathetic that you don’t play the game because you can’t run it like you expected. With my config i can run it pretty well in pve, or in WvW. I don’t have a really overpowered pc like some of you guys pretend to have. But do you hear me winning about it ? Just play the game and stop acting like children…

I love Anet. I love the game. But what they did with the games performance is awfull. If I pay I DEMAND. Now I dont understand… If u are paying for something u want it to work as it was written on paper ( Anet said that the game will be playable for nearly everyone ). I hate ppl like u who dont want to get the product they actually bought. This discussion is about how Anet should fix the game not how we should accept the situation. That what ur saying is pathetic,childish and naive. Ur supposed to be outraged by the poor performance of the game. It was said it would work on Medium settings for players who played gw1 on max now the truth is very different because even people who can play crysis 3 on max cant play gw2 with medium settings good.

Anet should start fixing it. And I would be glad for a statement of their own. Lets face the facts the game runs horrible. It is a great game but it is a pain in the kitten to play. I dont have so much cash to just go buy me a new processor and the best part is all games besides Gw2 run for me a stable 60 fps. The problem is with the engine I think. It was a great mistake to build gw2 on the first engine. They should have taken the Cryengine and all would be smooth. I dont know. They have to fix it I cant play like this…

Lets talk about this problem in this thread. Maybe finally someone will hear us out ? Ive got a really decent pc. Crysis 3 on ultra Without AA flawless. Gw2 average 25fps WHY :C ? it bothers me so much. I know its the fault of the CPU. But it isnt a bad CPU either so why gw2 ? Tera runs great and Gw2 is just a mess even Planetside 2 which is a CPU intensive gam runs on average 45 for me.

The game is great it really is. The problem lies in horrible performance of the game. Is there any possibility of Anet fixing it ? I would be more than satisfied to hear a statement from a dev here. The optimization is really needed. It cant go on like this…

I want to write here all the bugs down I encountered. Many ppl write similar bugs but think they occur only in special events which is not really true.

Well here we go :

1. Loud footsteps. This happens the most when rangers swap their pets or bring to life. Theyre pets footsteps are really loud and it annoys the crap out of me. I dont know if it happens with minions of bosses and stuff but worth checking out
2. Dissapearing sound on bigger events. Some are completely silenced some occur only sometimes. It annoys the hell out of me. Especially if I want to have an epic dragon fight. It only happens if there are really much players. So in my opinion the many sounds of the players skill are the reason for the sound stuttering and silencing and so on.
3. Alarm sound. Now this is interesting. Never happened to me before in any other game. In major events with lots of noises after the bug 2 occurs sometimes it transforms itself into an Alarm sound. Its really weird. Everything else works just fine. My teamspeak or mumble or even youtube/winamp w/e but the game has to be turned off and turned on so it can work again. It is really annoying
4. Some npcs in events or dungeons suddenly speak up really loud if u are far away from them. I know its because u should know the story but I would rather not hear them from such a distance this loud. Especially magg after the Bomb event in Citadel of Flame.

The visuals of Signet of rage are making me furious. Could Anet delete them ? I know its ridiculous to ask such a thing but still why should this particular signet have such a dumb visual ? I would be glad if u could remove it. Thanks.

I made all maps nad surprisingly I noticed it wasnt 100% so I figured out the rest must be on WvWvW. And Indeed it is. BUT it really shouldnt be there. Why ? Its not that the POI are sometimes inside keeps that are taken thats not the point here. The point is 20% ppl are running around and collecting poi,skillpoints and vistas and are not defending or helping theyre home worlds. I know because I do the same before I do any pvp I wanted to finnish the map 100% but it is nearly impossible and frustrating to do so. I think POI and Vistas should be deleted from WvWvW. It causes many problems.
