Yup it is unplayable now. My ISP is PLDT and they just keep telling me they’ll fix it asap but it’s been weeks for me. My lag started on the 20th of February and hasn’t been gone. It began with lag during NA WVW prime time and would end at 12mn Mnl time. Now it happens the whole day and it’s kittening me off.

Game was fine a week ago but slow patch downloads, now everything is just unbearable. I can’t even play lagless for 2 seconds.

@Kokey I am having the exact same problem as you.
Started out to lag in the afternoon till about midnight, few weeks ago it started lagging the whole day but seemed to be playable, now the lag is just unbearable.

Had no lag/delay whatsoever, and suddenly I’ve been getting lagspikes every 2-5 seconds. It started about a week ago and only happened during afternoon my time till about 12mn. And since 2 days ago it’s been happening the whole day. Major lagspikes, packet loss. I called my ISP, they said my line is fine and there is no network issue.
My ISP is PLDT, The Philippine Long Distance Telephone Company. Hope there’s a fix for this, as every PLDT user I know suffers from this ever since the LA patch.

One thing to take note too, I’m not lagging in game even without spotflux. So it’s just the download speed of the client that isn’t working. Plus I tried using the -repair thing too for my client and it doesn’t do anything, I’ve waited on it for 2 hours and still nothing works.(I heard trying to repair it works but it doesnt work for me)

Good day! I’ve been troubled lately because ever since the latest patch of lion’s arch, update speeds after that have been really slow. I’ve tried calling my service provider and they told me my internet is 100% fine. I also tried speedtest, speedof.me, pingtest and they seem to be normal. I know I’m not the only one experiencing this as I’ve read multiple posts in other forums. I’m getting 30k-40kbs for about a minute after opening the launcher then afterwards it stops downloading completely. Any help will be much appreciated!
P.S. I tried the google DNS trick, it doesn’t work. As of now I’ve tried using spotflux as recommended by a friend as a temporary fix.

Words can’t describe how happy I feel when I woke up this morning and got a mail from arenanet saying my account got reinstated.
I know for a fact that I wasn’t using any illegal third-party program but still, no words can express the happiness I have this moment for getting back into the game. I feel like I won the lottery! lol
But the only disturbing part for me is, arenanet hasn’t pinpointed as to what ticked the system to ban me outright, since I know fraps is allowed, so as razer mice/keyboard software. But I’ve also been thinking maybe it was razer game booster? But I don’t know, anyways I’ll stop using that since I read stuff about it being snake oil.
Lastly I would like to thank the arenanet staff not only for their kindness but for their patience in handling my account, even though at the start I had no idea how to approach the situation I had no problem whatsoever adjusting thanks to Astral Projections and Miss Gaile. Thank you to the GMs behind the scenes as well! Thank you so so much!
