Just to let you know, if you log out whilst in the downstate you will be dead when you log back in
Thats really good to know… But the fact remains that PlayerA Doesn’t get Credit when he should had… especially if the player is dead anyways from logging out.
I would propose a way so if a player DOES lose connection in WvW… the server checks if the player is in combat… if true then.. the connection may be loss… but keep the presence of the player there until player is removed from combat
EDIT: But I do agree that Repair costs in WvW should be removed.
So I was on World versus World today a noticed a exploit that’s getting annoying.
For this post I will use a example using PlayerA and PlayerB
NOTE: PlayerA and PlayerB are on separate server, And is enemies.
PlayerA and PlayerB are not in a Zerg, They are just running to a destination.
PlayerA and PlayerB bumps into each other and starts fighting.
PlayerA Downs PlayerB, And in the middle of PlayerA Channeling to “Finish Him”
PlayerB Vanishes.
NOTE: PlayerB Does not use a Skill to Vanish. PlayerB Decided to “Log Out” or “Alt + F4” Because he was Downed, and Did not want PlayerA To get credit.
I seen this happen several Time tonight and was hoping if there is some sort of fix under way.
