Tick tock goes the clock
It’s almost time for time to stop

Just me, but I think that Divinity’s Reach strongly resembles a clock, perhaps at least part of the idea behind sending out a pocket watch. Although I’m not discounting that there’s some timey-wimey involved with the Aetherblades in general.

Something you all must understand
Your world is built on fog and sand

I think I remember reading something in the lore in regards to Divinity’s Reach that the city itself and Queensdale in general was built on marshland, which has been known to be foggy and sandy. This really made me think about the old adage that says something about not building houses or castles on the sand, as they will almost always be washed away with time.

You’re out of time, your jig is done
It’s time for Scarlet to have her fun
She has some hard lessons to teach
To the people of Divinity’s Reach

So mark the date in permanent ink
The hour is later than you think
On the twentieth day she’ll start her games
And warm her hands over Kryta’s flames!

If I were Scarlet and I really wanted to throw Divinity’s Reach and Kryta into total chaos, I’d do something to the dams. Perhaps blow them up? I don’t know.

Personally, I wonder if it has anything to do with the crystal shards that keep falling from the sky in the pavillion. Considering the Queen’s history with Kralkatorrik, and especially after watching the Wooden Potatoes video linked above, I personally suspect that the Aetherblades are not from Tyria, or rather…not from ‘our Tyria’ (as implied in WP’s video). It makes sense to me that perhaps Kralkatorrik, what with his mesmer skills and what not, was responsible for ripping apart reality due to their consumption of magic.

(Gah, edited for clarity. Apologies.)

Equipment Closets

in Suggestions

I did a search for items relating to this topic prior to posting, so I apologize if this seems to be repeating something previously posted.

As new town clothes, armor sets, and other wearable items are introduced to the game, there seems to be, for some, a bit of a problem emerging as to where to store everything. Certainly, we can buy additional bank tabs and store these wearable items there, but this still seems to me to be lacking in elegance as a solution for managing the storage of these items.

As such, I would like to propose the suggestion of “Equipment Closets”. The basic concept is that this could be a different type of storage not unlike the PVP gear cabinets in the Mists, where town clothes and PVE gear could be stored, either by slot type, or perhaps set.

This is just a very basic and general idea which I’m certain could be enhanced by things such as a sort or search feature, etc. but for now, I just wanted to propose the basic idea for discussion and brainstorming.

Thank you.

*Edited to change PvP to PVE in the third paragraph. My mistake!
