Guild Wars 2

Well I suppose both, but I’m kind of looking for advice on where to go to find other like minded people who want to form up into a group and hit fracs together. I’m basically asking, where to find these people? High frac LFG, map chat asking for guilds to join, online forums? I literally have no idea where people normally look for things like this, so any starting point would be useful.

How do people normally go about looking for organised fractal/dungeon run groups? I’ve been playing gw2 for a couple years now, but I’ve never been into major competitive groups/teams. I’m currently really into fracs and I want to progress through to the higher level >50+ up to (eventually) 100 etc runs, with the ability to do T4 dailys etc. At the moment, I’ve got like 110+AR, full asc on herald with a good knowledge of fractals, stacking points and good knowledge of my class etc. But I still find that everything is just extremely difficult/much more time consuming than it has to be when I’m running with “pugs” in lfg (no one seems to know what a dodge roll is). There always seems to be one or two people who don’t know what they’re doing, slowing everything down.

Anyway, any advice on anything I’ve said and any advice on how to move into organised runs etc would be greatly appreciated.

I can log in fine, download patches fine (and sometimes, login fine), however 90% of the time I can’t actually log into the game itself. I log in to char select etc. and when I click on the character, it becomes stuck, saying “Divinity’s Reach”. I’m on Ring of Fire server.

All other internet services are fine, so this isn’t a user issue as far as I’m concerned. If there’s anything I can do to fix it (updated my drivers etc. as well), then I’m game. I’ve also tried repairing the game files as well.

I’ve noticed that with characters I’ve tried to log in with, their map completion goes down to 0% for some reason and also when logging in, if the bar at the bottom displaying how many WPs, POIs etc. you’ve visited shows up, then the login is fine, but if the bar doesn’t show up, it won’t log.
