i have deleted local.dat already. did nothing

So basically since the start of wintersday, everytime i open up the game client to the login screen i have to download some 248,000 files for “verifying archive” before i can actually launch the game. the download normally takes atound 10 minutes, which can be a hassal if i am in a hurry or if i get dc’d and need to get back in the game finish doing what i was doing(ie; running a duingeon). no one else i have talked to has had this problem, ever. was wondering if anyone on here might know why this is happening or know of a solution.

so for the past 3 days ive been playing without my mouse cursor showing up. i figured it would resolve itself eventually but it hasnt yet. was wondering how to fix this problem. has never happened before and i have been playing the game since its release.
