Guild Wars 2

Hello all thank you for having me. Basically say I’m new to the game on an old account. I bought the game on release day but never played it much. Now decided I want to give it a full try.

I made a elementals today. Just hit level 10 so long ways to go for sure. Just wanted some tips and advice really on early stages.

I noticed my spells change with whatever weapon i have. I like the dagger so far because the spells seem fast. The scepter wasn’t for me least for now. Is there a good or bad one or just whatever too?

Just came back and started a brand new character as a thief and I like the class. Only level 9 right now. I’m doing everything the little quest at the top tells me to do along with random events that pop up. However it seems like leveling is a little slow and this stage. Also I can tell everything has been redone. I don’t remember waiting until level 10 to do story missions. I’m also gathering if I see stuff and only crafted a few leather pieces of armor.

Any advice as far as game play and what to do. I know I can do pvp and it jumps to level 80 but I’d rather not.
