btw i wanted to add that if my previous post may sound abit too harsh that this was by no means my intention. its just rly frustrating when ur not able to play at all during primetime hours. im totally aware of that the ppl who make these decision are not the ppl who monitor these boards or the ppl who maintain the game. u made a great game, perhaps the best mmo since a decade and it would be very sad if it would be ruined by something like consistant lags. i just hope ur management realizes this aswell so the problems can be fixed asap.
the fact that it almost exclusively happens at primetime implies that the “fix” is buying servers that dont use a pentium II…..
absolutely unbelievable how companys keep spending as little money as possible on infrastructure and hope to get away with it. it was the exact same thing with AH.
we bought the game so we have the right to demand a working service.
unplayable lag since a few days, always starting around 6pm. completely impossible to play till about 10-11pm. ran several tests on my internet connection and its working as always. very low ping, no packetloss no jitter. also talked to an technician at my isp and the problem is definitaly not on their side. didnt have these problems at all during first 2 weeks. may i ask what the hell u have done arenanet ? o_O maybe its time to spend some money on proper server infrastructure -.-
