I just played a match on foefire where my entire team dced with a big lead, like 400 to 230, while the other team started to go for lord. When we got back in the match, the other team had already killed the lord and capped all 3 points and then won. What happened here? I don’t think a dc like this could just be coincidental, because my game never crashes like that
So because the ranger, necro, and engi are getting 2h weapons as new weapon, could we assume that the mesmer would get a new mainhand wep? because the shield only offhand, right?
They need to give mesmers the pistol for a mainhand. make it a direct damage mid-long range wep
I agree, I just enjoy condition more because the enemy doesn’t even notice their health is gone until I down them lol. Plus the shield gives me two cc abilities haha.
I play a p/s condition engi (with hybrid stats, about 1300-1400 in each stat) and a flamethrower. I love running around in wvw and 1v1ing people. I’ve read a lot of people complaining about engis compared to warriors, etc. But I’ve noticed that I can easily kill greatsword warriors and glass cannon thieves that sneak up on me. How? CC. As engis we have more cc than any other class. Laying down all my dots (+burning from flamethrower belt skill) and knocking back melee classes = half their health gone and I’m untouched. And if I miss a cc, I have 2 more in my arsenal (flamethrower 3 and shield 5). And that’s not including the blinds. Melee builds can’t touch me. A glass cannon thief that ambushes me can knock down half my health in the first couple of strikes but after that, I knock him back, lay down all my dots and he’s done for because he can’t touch me after that….they usually die from my dots or run away. Lol. Guardians give me more trouble due to their condition removal, but the great thing about the pistol is very short cds, plus some smart play (ex. opening with an auto attack to take out that first agesis) and they are no different. Played the engi since beta, and I’ve found that an engi is not really a ranged class in the traditional sense. They have a lot of natural toughness and vitality and are kind of made to be close to their enemy, until they knock you back and take you down…that goes for a rifle engi too. Knowing your class and knowing your enemy > what profession you play. Not to say that engis don’t have problems, but what class doesn’t?
