simple – so u can often take advantage of having those – like an eneymy running away from you gets slowed down by those(and/or damaged). If not that then to at least make that part of the world seem ‘alive’ instead of a barren land left for humanoids only. Lastly ppl like those farmers u mentioned are easy prey to whoever finds them. Running between towers/keeps through a deserted lands would feel so wrong… :o
I agree it might feel weird if it was completely empty. I do not think mobs should be there to help players get a kill on another. It should be left up to skill, if you can’t catch someone because they can get away, why should you get an assist from some random mob attacking them?
The solution to fix both these farmer problems and hostile mobs being an annoyance would be to make every mob non aggressive. The problem with Krait farming is that people can sit half AFK while Krait attack them over and over. Engineers with turrets can sit and hit F to collect look while turrets kill everything over and over because millions of Krait run at them automatically.
While they are a detriment to their server by afk farming in the water for hours, Anet needs to nerf how profitable it is so people do not have good reason to sit there for ever.
Just make all mobs non aggressive. I even think aggressive mobs that randomly attack Doyalks are a bad idea. No reason for that either.
Please explain why mobs that aren’t related to the mercenary camps exist in WvW?
They either distract new plays from what WvW is actually about and they end up fighting random monsters instead of assisting camps, keeps, towers etc. or they cause issues where people can farm them for more profit than they can farm monsters in real PvE. ie people that farm Krait for hours on end in Borderlands (which earns 2g+ a hour)

New farm spot, sit here at Kraits for 3 hours+ with turrets up and hit tab/1 over and over. I’d kill them but there’s 20 people in one clump and no zergs by chance swim past that area of the water.
The problem is all the armor is stretched / poorly clipped like it was never even meant to be on a Charr anyways. Although some of it would look good with different textures applied that aren’t stretched over top of the model.
It honestly looks so bad I just want to reroll into a human, but since I’ve made my Charr and max 4 professions / 100% world complete etc that is such a depressing thing to redo that it makes it hard to bother playing the game at all. Since the point of end game PvE is to get nice looking armor etc.
All Charr armor is stretched or clipped poorly like it was never modeled really for the race and was made for humans then just distorted onto the Charr body.
Since I’ve maxed and there’s nothing left for me to do but grind aesthetic gear I find myself wanting to remake my entire character just so I can get armor that actually looks good.
Anet please turn my Charr into a Human.
