I can’t run it 24/7, and this is likely going to be a 2,000+ file update, which always takes me ~13 hours of downloading.

Do you have any proof it’ll go live the 15th, or are you just guessing?

As the topic says. I have a 60kb/s connection, and I won’t be able to play with my Refer a Friend people or the Lost Shore events at all if it’s a huge patch that doesn’t go downloadable until the day it comes out.

Does anyone know when it’ll be downloadable? Was it already pushed? Any info?

It definately makes a good difference.

However, it REALLY needs some way (either camera or FoV, whatever works) to adjust where the character is vertically. My character really appears too low on the screen now, and it’s very hazardous as an Asura.

It’s progress, but it’s still not even CLOSE to as good as the “alternate method”, as someone said above. That has a slider-esque way to adjust the FoV, which is seriously what this game needs. If for some reason you devs don’t want to do that, then we really need some slider to adjust how high/low the character appears on the screen.

Since I’m an Asura and already very short, and the fact this makes my character appear even lower with no way to correct it, it’s far too hazardous to use currently in my opinion. I hope they’ll do something about this issue.

I liked the mining the Raw Candy Corn thing at first, it was pretty funny. But now, I’ll be VERY glad when the zones go back to having regular ores instead of them. I need more ores. Trying to get Mithril/Oricachalum ore in Orr and the 70-80 snow zone is veyr annoying when I get up to it, and it ends up being a worthless Candy Core node.

Yes, it sounds ironic, and it is, but the guild Souls Of Living Ones (Solo) is just for players that perfer to play solo, but still want a guild just for chatting’s/homely sake.

Just made, we don’t have a lot of rules, outside of Arenanet’s general game rules.

Currently there is no Voice chat server, but if we get enough members/demand for one, we’ll add one in a jiffy.

Also, since Guild Chat is cross-server, we’ll accept anyone at all, from any server. Just either reply here, send me a pm here, or send me a mail in-game to this account for more info or an invite.

I’m aware, Everquest 2 lets players use /ics_camera_distance_scale and other such commands in-game to get their camera exactly as they want.

The thing is, Guild Wars 2 has absolutely NO in-game console camera commands , nor editable .ini files to do this, so people are relying on a third-party TOS-violating hack.

I will not link to it or say it’s name due to obvious reasons, but TONS of people use a FoV hack already. After asking in a few Map Chats, I got around 150 people in just 2 hours that say they use it on a regular basis.

Arenanet, people are willing to risk their accounts being banned, and using a hack that ya’ll have already said no to, just for a freaking FoV fix that frankly should have been fixed in beta, considering how many people have asked for it.

If they made one that works apparently as well as they all say, it shouldn’t be hard for actual game developers to do it. Heck, just get the hack maker’s permission to just add the hack to the official game if you need to.

Considering the number of people willingly hacking and risking their account to fix a issue that should have been fixed long ago, this should really be a big priority addition.

Just my 2 cents. Personally, I do not have a problem with the FoV, so I have no reason to use the hack. It just concerns me that so many people are doing this.
