Hey there,
My other half and I recently picked up GW2, and are in the process of looking for a guild on the Maguuma server. It’s awful lonely when there’s no chatter going on, or people to play with and such! Even just leveling up, it’s great to be social or run around with others. Basically, looking for a home—a single guild to represent, rather than use GW2’s weird multi-guild system. (What can I say, I’m an EQI original.. I’m used to guilds being family, not chat rooms or social sites to flip flop or join and leave)
PvE, sPvP, WvW (Looks fun, I loved DAoC but sort of confused on WvW right now but eh, still low level. Plenty of time to figure it out.) Roleplay is a plus, but I’m not expecting it. Basically, all aspects of the game. We want to do everything!
Being active and talkative are key, although guild size doesn’t matter to us. I’m the more outgoing/talkative half, as he’s brand new to MMOs—but I’m hoping to make both of our experiences in GW2 good ones.

As someone brand new to GW2, and fascinated by Guardians—particularly the idea of a Burn build.. is this viable, and what would you recommend trait wise? I’m reading through the thread but a lot of it is theorycrafting way over my head at the moment, as I try to figure out the game. grin I appreciate all of the work y’all have put into this over the months, as it’s great to see a guide going even if I don’t understand a lot of it just yet.
