Hi folks,

As the title suggest, I am on the lookout for a guild.
Been out of the game for a few months due to real life commitments and back to test the waters of GW2 to see if it still holds a grip on me.
Here are some details about me:

30years old + Human Warrior + Level 80 + Storyline Completed + PVE GS/Bow Built + Traits 6-4-4-0-0 + Knight’s Draconic Armor + Cobalt GS + Weaponsmith lv410 & Armorsmith lv400 + 1258 points earned + 1000 commendation points to use + etc…

Having finished the storyline, I am looking at slowly increasing my crafting to 500, forging myself a Legendary Weapon (perhaps even Legendary Armor when those get released) and/or acquiring a nice dungeon armor set. I can’t see much more beyond that but perhaps GW2’s updates & expansions will surprise me.

I am looking for a mature and friendly guild. Not a boot camp. A guild that regularly engages in dungeons, likes to assist people with levelling (whether it be character or crafting), basically one that touches a little bit of everything without taking itself overly seriously. This is only a game afterall.

I have experience in Ascalonian Catacombs and have only done the storyline aspect of Ruins of Arah (to finish the storyline naturally).

Voila, I think that should be enough.
Looking forward to hearing from you.

Cheers,

Yorick

Thank you kindly for the guidance.

For armorsmithing, I guess it stops here for now. I’ve made a Knight’s Draconic Set which was the initial goal. Next will be the acquisition of dungeon armor.

For weaponsmithing, I suppose getting to lv500 is a good first goal as Bezayne suggested. Then crafting my first Ascended Weapon, and finally further down the track crafting a Legendary.

so for now, wps to 500 and gathering mats. Sound about right?

Hi folks,

So I’ve reached lv400. Expensive and I hope worth it.
I wish to know what awaits me from here on out?
My warrior has full Knight’s gear from the TP but naturally I wish to eventually craft my own unique gear. It will take heaps of expensive mats I know, but it’s a nice goal to set out to achieve. How do I go about it from 400 onwards please?
No need for too deep an explanation. Just dot points would suffice.
I read that from here I need to seek recipes as opposed to discovering?
I seem to be collecting rare and exotic mats now (lv80). Just don’t know what to make of them… Draconic seems like a descent start. I should perhaps get my hands on the recipe for the items or the box?

Any help would be appreciated. Consider me clueless and having only discovered up to the Rare Gladiator Set (80).

Cheers,

Yorick

[EU][Piken.Sq][War][Lv80] Looking for a Guild

Hi folks,

As the title suggest, I’d like to join a guild.
My warrior has just reached lv80. Has full Knight’s Gladiator Armor with Ruby Orbs.
Most trinkets are Soldier’s with Beryl Enchants.
I have Cobalt as a GS and my traits are 20/25/25/0/0. This build was inspired by a Berserker turned Survivalist, on YouTube, after noticing high DPS wasn’t all that grand given he would drop dead in 2-3 hits once he aggroed. Well… Not 2-3 but you get the idea. With this build, I still ditch out hard but I survive.

Why join a guild? DUNGEONS. As a former GW1 game ender, I know the thrill yet I haven’t yet tasted it in GW2. I am looking for a guild which is understanding of first timers and is willing to guide me through the way it’s done in GW2. I learn very fast.
I am very flexible about my build whether it be armor, traits and/or skills. I want to do right by the team afterall.

Looking forward to your offers.
PS: Being at Lv80, although I have a few other maps to complete, I am wanting to fairly regularly do dungeons throughout the day. This would imply an fairly active guild. So no small ones please. I wish you a lot of success but I can’t be standing around all day waiting for groups to form up. Appreciate your understanding.
