Guild Wars 2

I have some friends who I sometimes speak Chinese with (simplified), and many characters are super messed up when typing and in the UI.

I currently have the UI set to small.

Attached is what it looks like when I type: ????

Any suggestions, and has anyone else experienced this issue?

edit: apparently the forum does not like chinese characters, so another attachment is what the chinese text is supposed to look like.

Server: Gates of Madness
Latency: Quite odd, alot of the time it is quite normal. But every 10 or so minutes, I get a MASSIVE lag spike, and my character can’t use any skills, nor does anything interact with my character. After about kitten of that, I see the world flying past me and i go back to normal.

I have restarted my router, my computer, reinstalled my wireless adapter, tried a new wireless adapter… But not of these have seemed to work.

Any & all help is much appreciated
