Lvl 80 for life. Couldn’t live without my culture/dungeon gear. Might be alright for a Human but a Sylvari in a chainmail skirt just repulsed me for my first 60 levels.
In Neverwinter Nights you’d select a first name and last name in char creation and most of the time NPCs would call you by your first name. You could, obviously, leave out the last name if you only wanted a typical avatar name.
You can’t trade tonics, you can’t sell tonics, you can’t get the one you want or even know what you want and then you throw out 90% of the them because you don’t like it and they take up so much bank space. Tonics are, on the bottom line, waste of space.
If all tonics were “mystery” they would be fun, they wouldn’t be a disappointment to get because you know you have to throw them out and you would actually use them instead of saving them for that ‘opportune’ moment. A random roll of the dice makes them fun to have or play with particularly with a group of players.
If all tonics were “collectable” they wouldn’t take up space. 90% of them would still be something you’d throw out, if it wasn’t collectable, but at least you don’t have a bank tab full of tonics you barely like or think are very situational.
If tonics were tradeable, they’d actually be worth something half the time instead of something you’d throw out as soon as you get them. You could set up events where everyone is to be an Owl and acquiring said Owl tonic would be easy off the TP or from some guy you know who has 50 of them. There’d obviously be some tonics which would be more desirable and thus cost more but at least when you’re given these blue bottles you’re not being given complete trash.
Just my 2 copper.
They didn’t make mini wolves either.
I just roll warrior with 30 tactics/arms sword+horn/greatsword and get that high crit with free might/fury and immobilize on cripple, using knight armor and berserker jewelry. When I’m not getting focused by the mob I sit there dealing loads of damage, otherwise I use the cripple/immobilize from my skills alongside the spin to win and dash/jump to escape.
I find that most non melee mobs do next to no damage.
Invisible bag, they’re normally cheaper than their counterparts too.
Ranger’s AoE heal is pretty good, as is the stuff Elementalist have. A Warrior’s banner can heal eventually quite effectively, and the Warrior can slow+snare in various ways; note that immobilized, blind and cripple works on bosses regardless of the anti-cc buff. Other types of hard cc such as knockback, stun, daze work against his minions and often affect a small AoE.
I don’t see why they even let you buy soulbound light armour for a medium class.
When you’re a tree for that part, you get a special cutscene where Trahearne recognises you and is grateful you have showed up… then your mentor introduces you to him :\kitten/p>
You can get it quite easily around 50-60+ when events start counting for a fair amount of experience.
I agree this would be nice, I am disheartened how you cannot change hair type/colour or accessory colour through the game and I imagine lots of people would like to do that too. Glow colour affects my Sylvari culture armour as well (something I would never have thought of in character creation) and makes it hard to get the look I want.
In a game where you can freely change your armour colour, I can’t understand why at least accessory and hair colour are not included in that.
